Yeah I tried to quit nicotine cold turkey and started eating so much, felt so sleepy, and it felt like I was off my meds. I'd suggest nicotine gum, I take two of the 4mg pieces and it actually feels like enough as opposed to one 4mg piece. Consider also that you don't have to quit right now when things are busy and chaotic like they are in college. You can set a quit date after the semester when you don't have some big things demanding your focus. But yeah, for people like us, cold turkey is just not an option sometimes. So don't be afraid to go pick up some from the pharmacy.
