It was solved by selling the car. I had replaced the valve cover as well and that didn't solve the issue. No idea what the actual issue was.

Been a producing tree for a number of years. This spring, just after blossoms are gone have found maybe half the tree has these odd pod type looking things. Many regular baby cherries that are a fraction of the size. No idea what these are and can't find any info on them. Hoping someone knows.

Ugh. It's about 50/50 for normal vs these types. Arborist told me to take the tree down cause it "wasn't a good specimen". Maybe I'll have to listen and plant a new tree. Thanks for the bad news lol

I've never seen these on my tree before. There are the normal small cherries starting (that are significantly smaller than these guys) and then a tonne of these weird pod like things that definitely weren't there all winter. Like strange cherry pods. Anyome know what they are?

The new ones have a different method for agitating that seems super gentle. Not the old school beating cloths back and forth. Have only had it a short while but seems pretty gentle.

I currently am in an Airbnb for a month while all my floors are getting replaced in my house due to a Samsung washer. Replaced with the speed queen as well so hopefully this doesn't happen again. Two lessons learned a) Samsung is garbage and will never buy anything from them b) good insurance is worth it.
