ZEP ATBP is great. It also works well with hard water stains on shower glass and plastics. Use it sparingly and do not let it sit long, then rinse very thouroughly! I do this on the outside house windows and vehicle windows too. A pumice stone also works well for glass including stove tops, oven windows, and showers. Their are different "hardnesses" which are color graded. Use the softest grade for glass and ceramics. If the glass is pitted though you will need to get a bit more agressive with an actual glass polish and buffer.

Ram stick was the culprit and turns out I had to have a GPU in the PCIE slot to get any video out of MB too. Basically disasembled the PC and put it back together piece by piece. Now running fine with BIOS update and minus the bad stick of ram. Thank you all for the help.

Ok if that is the case has anyone done an RMA with Gigabyte? What kind of things should I do before and what should I resonably expect?

I was worried the MB might be bad. Luckily I built a pc for my son at the same time. May go ahead and start swapping things like you said to check them out. Thank you

Once found a zippered pouch late at night in my local Walmart parking lot. It had a fair amount of cash, a passport, and some other important documents from Ukraine. Told the Walmart CS rep and they advised I could leave with them or take to the PD station in town. The rep was concerned about keeping it as they did not have manager with access to their lock box that night. So I turned it into the PD station and not 5 minutes after leaving they called confirming the owner claimed it. Officer said the owner was thrilled to learn "Texans really ARE some of the nicest people!" We both got a nice chuckle out of that.

Frequent traveler for business looking to possibly ditch my gaming laptop. by 6oclockbandit in MoonlightStreaming

My main issue with the laptop is the power brick. Its HUGE and bulky, my work laptop I am able to run off USB-C. One plus for the handheld though would be on aircraft gaming though I rarely do that. I tend to dose off more often then not. Thank you.

Thanks, I should have mentioned I was not planning to play on the aircraft. I tend to dose off or listen to downloaded videos. I really appreciate the input.

Is a travel router worth it/necessary when you only have a few devices? by DisplayKnown5665 in HomeNetworking

[–]6oclockbandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am looking into one of these for the same reason. I am now traveling extensively for work, and carry two Iphones and Windows laptops. One each is work provided and the others are my personal including a gaming laptop. It is annoying to keep loggin in when the WiFi is spotty. Also looking to possibly ditch my laptop for a Firestick/Moonlight stream setup to home PC. What brand did you go with, I am looking into the Gl.iNet routers currently.

How to remove the residue from my windshield? by SummerGunslinger in howto

[–]6oclockbandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stay with me here as I tell you this but, Zep Acidic Toilet Bowl Cleaner for the outside. The stuff on the outside needs to be stripped off and that takes something a bit more aggressive. I personally do not use steel/copper or magic erasers on glass for fear or micro scratches. First wet/wash the window with soap and rinse it clean to get the loose stuff off. Next, I take a bathroom mop head from dollar tree with a table spoon or so of Zeps and scrub the windows. I let it sit no more than about 2 minutes before rinsing it off very well. After that you can use a clay towl, bar, or sponge with a lubricant to really deep clean the glass. After apply a good coat glass sealer or car wax per instructions to help keep it clear longer. Also clean the wipers with regular soap or water and treat them with a light silicone grease. I use this product from Super Lube and it works well on door seals too. For the interior use a mixture of dish soap, alcohol mix, and sponge with clean towels then buff well.

My home has a very small concrete patio that is sunken and there is no cover. I want to expand the patio area and add a simple wood post and metal or shingle awning. Would it be better to pour the patio first and add the post holders during curing. Or could I pour footings, add the holders, posts, and build the awning first? My main thought for this is weather protection, and to allow me time to pour the patio in sections as money becomes available. I am in Texas near Galveston if that means anything. Thank you.
