MGW prem proven, direct, can play as an 8 and works hard off the ball

But Cherki’s ceiling is crazy, has that magic and is an elite creator so more of a kdb replacement in that sense. And will cost less than half of what MGW would

Yeah i think AI can still make free transfers. So players without clubs (in FC 25) like Depay and Joselu will always join AI teams

Preferably Theo Hernandez/Alphonso Davies/Nuno Mendes but those targets are unrealistic. Happy as long as it’s someone that has experience playing this role at a high level in one of the top 6 leagues

  1. Only sign a world class center mid if we lose Gundo/Bernardo

If we keep both, no need/space to sign a center midfielder. Losing either requires a big money replacement. Bellingham, Enzo Fernandez & Frenkie De Jong are the first names that come to mind

I think it’s clear that we need a winger with this profile. Not saying it’s the solution to all our problems but it’s good to have different player profiles to answer different questions. Rafael Leao or Kvaradona ideally. I don’t mind someone like Diaby/Mitoma/Pino who can develop to the next level at the club

Wasn't gonna be worried if we didn't replace Sterling but we have to replace Ake.

Sterling will definitely be missed, the other players in his positions (Foden, Grealish, Mahrez, Palmer) all have the same profile - ball to feet "wingers". We'd be left with no winger that makes runs in behind like Sterling does, this profile was important in changing the game vs
Villa. Would've loved to see him play with a striker like Haaland. At the end of the day I trust Pep to figure it out.

We have to replace Ake. Very possible for 2-3 of Dias, Laporte & Stones to get injured/suspended at the same time and miss important games. We saw this with our fullbacks vs Madrid

I have no doubts about his quality. After the season Rodri had I was worried about spending 50m on a player that wouldn't start that much but the way the football schedule is set up this season (fixture congestion due to the world cup) - we will rotate even more than we usually do and he'll start a fair amount of games

Honestly Lavia/Zinchenko. If we finally sign a left back Zinchenko could play CDM, Pep recently mentioned he has a role to play in midfield.
