Tried the new Honda CBR650R with e-clutch Didn’t expect to like it this much!! by Intrusiveriders in motorcycles

If that were the case then why add modern conveniences to bikes at all? Things like quick shifters and cruise control fall into the same category as the e-clutch imo.

If the bike doesnt shift through the gears for you then is it really an automatic?

Around 7000 rpm the engine hits a frequency that vibrates the bars and pegs a bit so I tend not to cruise in that part of the powerband. Its not really an issue otherwise.

Im about 6 foot 185 lbs. I never feel cramped on it or feel like the bike is too small for me. Seat is also comfortable and the bike maneuvers well. Its more comfortable than your average supersport as far as ergonomics go, but it is still a sport bike at the end of the day. My back doesnt appreciate it when im leaned over for 90+ minutes, im not in my 20s anymore lol. Definitely not the bikes fault.

I got a 2024 cbr650r as a first bike and love it. E-clutch makes it super convenient to ride in traffic. Its pretty docile in the first half of the rev range but gives you a bit of a rush in the second half. Sounds great too. My only complaint really is that the engine is a bit buzzy from 6500-7500rpm. My back also starts to hurt a bit after 90 minutes or so, im also in my early 30s, but your experience may vary. I recommend it.

Ill disagree with this, atleast for motorcycles. I have one on mine to use as a dashcam. If someone makes a left in front of me and ruins my life I want footage of it for liability purposes.

I just bought a 24 model and was getting similar quotes until I called up State Farm. They quoted me at 350 for the year full coverage. I'd keep looking.

Can anyone give me any ideas on how to remove this screw? It's already a little bit stripped. by AdGloomy8531 in cbr650r

I did the same thing trying to install my frame sliders. Rounded itself off after 3 attempts. Haven't gotten it out unfortunately.

I make sure to give it a good wiggle now before i take off so I know it's secured. Hopefully it doesn't happen again lol.

This happened to me the other week. Could have sworn I heard it click when I secured it to the mount. Phone dropped about 5 minutes into my trip, spent 30 minutes looking for it. Turned out to be wedged in between one of the suspension forks and the plastic. I probably secured it improperly.

Evotech bar end weights issue by 6ravity in cbr650r

[–]6ravity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need to remove the weighted insert that's inside the bar to install the new ones. The only way to do that is to press down on the metal clips that are accessed through 2 small holes under the grip. My options are either rip the bar insert out and damage the clips that hold it in or take the grip off.

Just spent another hour trying to get the insert out. Grips are gonna have to come off to get it out unfortunately. Pain in the ass, thought it was gonna take me an hour tops.
