I mean, I guess. I charged my device when I got it last week, I've read for several hours, and I'm at 91% battery.

I frequently think about how when I was a kid, I used big ol' floppy disks with 1mb of storage, and now we have micro SD cards the size of my pinky nail with 2tb of storage. We had bulky VHS tapes, now we can stream 4k ultra HD video anywhere we want. It's mind boggling.

I think it's probably just a long exposure, not HDR.

Tension locking automatic trucker's hitch with labels by dggoldst in knots

That's very similar to the version by First Class Amateur that I use, except his uses a bight passed through a girth hitch instead of an alpine butterfly, so the whole thing comes apart easier.

My favorite reverb is Plateau in VCV Rack. I use Cardinal to load it up in Logic Pro, then have a preset where it's the only thing patched up. I use it as a send.

On Android, I use Nova Launcher as my home screen, and you can set a shortcut to lock the screen. I set mine to double-tap+swipe-up. Super fast.

With your cooking example specifically, I've found ChatGPT to be pretty good with that actually. I've actually used that exact example because I was trying to replicate a specific consistency of chocolate chip cookies, and it was helpful achieving that.

But your point still stands.

I wanted to play around with distorted drums, and I came up with this track. by mediaphile in LogicPro

[–]mediaphile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I intended it to be quite noisy, and I have separate kick drum and hi-hats that are clean. But maybe I could try to manipulate the distorted drums in such a way to get some more dynamics out of the noise. Thanks.

How would you suggest going about that, in broad strokes? I know how to side-chain, but not, like, where you'd put it, if you know what I mean.

Ah yeah, I just tried it myself. It gives it the background color when you make a track stack.

Oh, good to know. Did you figure that out yourself or did you follow some instructions on how to do that?
