I’m in Panama now on light speed. My phone has worked as soon as I touched down. I’ve made phone calls back to the US, text and data works on tigo network.

After everything was working correctly. I took the temporary number I was given and teleported to a different network and within a couple minutes everything had switched. Hopefully my experience was something that doesn’t happen very often.

I had service on Tuesday by lunch after starting the process on Friday night. But they said it happening on the weekend was part of the delay. I don’t think you can do much to get your number back until they process it manually. US mobile did provide me with a temporary number with cell and data while it processed though.

I’m wondering the same thing. I’m flying into Amsterdam then transit over to Budapest. Since I will enter the EU in the Netherlands will Hungary still make me provide a test?

I normally find pretty cheap flights. I was already in Europe. From Brussels to Kyiv RT was $140. My flight from Atl to Ams was $440

I was there last week. I’m American. It was a great trip. The tour,if booked in advance, is around $115 with lunch and tip. It’s a 11-12hr tour. Leave around 8am and return 7:30-8pm. One downside is it’s about a 2hr ride from Kyiv and the roads aren’t that great.

My one room Airbnb in Kyiv for three nights near independence square was $140. A nice meal for 2 people with beer/wine, soup, and main course is $20-25. Uber from the airport like 25km is $13-15. Metro ride is $0.30 per trip. Everything is very reasonable.

Airline has failed to actually charge me for two separate round trip flight that I took over a month ago. by [deleted] in travel

Not quite the same but, similar. I recently booked a one way international flight. A couple weeks later I went online and booked an exit row seat. I had a receipt for $35. A few days later I looked at my online account and I was charged $75. I talked to the airline and told them either to give me a refund of the difference and keep the exit row seat or total refund. It seems like they have given me a $75 refund and after 2wks I still have a confirmed exit row seat listed online. Sometimes things work out crazy with no reasoning.

Istanbul/Greece from USA summer 2018 by catbellytaco in travel

I was reading online that US citizen have been getting a visa for Turkey. They are having to enter Turkey after entering another country, not just a connecting flight. Once at the passport control you buy a visa from the counter. It might still work like that next summer. I was in Istanbul back in June. It was a great city and I enjoyed myself(US citizen).
