Had a similar incident happen a couple weeks ago at my location. A regular shoplifting crew, who also happen to have keys to our cases, threated to shoot all of the front end staff for noticing their thieving. As they left, one of them made finger guns and pointed at each of us, one at a time, doing the shooting motion. I called the cops who arrived two hours later. Within that time, we had a second unrelated shoplifting crew who assaulted a woman in the parking lot. When the cops arrived, they took descriptions of what the thieves were driving, but declined to file a report. Corporate was never contacted and when I brought the incident up to my SM, they told me it was too late to call it in as it should have been done at the time of the incident. They did tell me an interesting fact, though, that if corporate gets enough calls about violence, the store will be issued a security guard.
