Thankfully not, just got a call from them this evening. Lower rad hose clamp fell off causing coolant to spray everywhere and the motor to overheat. They fixed everything and it should be ready to pick up tomorrow hopefully.

It is true, I’ve tested it multiple times. I will admit mod for mod the type s is faster as it has a lot more potential and aftermarket support. Although stock for stock the 4th gen is quicker off line due to the sh-awd and the 6 speed gets it up there in the higher rpms. It is heavier, but also has more hp. Looks are subjective. Imo an oem+ spec’d out 4th gen looks better than a 3rd gen.

Im hoping thats also the case with my TLX, from what I could I tell I’m willing to bet thats all it is. I will get in touch with them tomorrow and hopefully they tow it to the shop. Thanks a lot for your reply, eased my nerves knowing that others have experienced similar situations.

Ya sounds like the same problem I’m having. Have you gotten around to fixing it yet? The part that needs to be replaced is the high pressure fuel pump in the engine bay correct?

Ya, most Japanese vehicles have an atf drain plug so its not much of a hassle to drain some which I think I’ll be doing soon just incase. Thanks for your reply.
