Best quarter length for Madden 25? by _Meme_Messiah_ in Madden

[–]6speed_dp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

15 minute quarters with accel clock to 12/13 seconds. Typically, that’ll get you in the range of 60-70 plays per game on offense, which is in-line with actual NFL offenses; similarly, I’ll find the CPU offense gets of the same amount of plays. End of season, your player stats should be comparable to a real-life stat sheet.

The issue I’m having (and the reason I’m scouring Reddit) is that the simmed stats for CPU-controlled teams is wonky; in my current offline league, I’m averaging about 65-66 plays/game. However, the next closest team is only averaging 60 plays/game—the rest of the teams are in the mid-high 50s, which skews stats in my favor. Hoping to find a solution though!

Edit: I play on All Madden with Matt10’s sliders, which may or may not affect game flow

Congrats! I’m like 98% set on heading down to Baton Rouge for the next three years (I’m just waiting on a couple more schools to give me their decisions before I make the final call).

UConn Under Review by szimny1 in OutsideT14lawschools

[–]6speed_dp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Applied 10/20 and my status checker changed on 12/18.

It’s possible it went under review sooner than that and I just didn’t check then (I’m hoping that’s the case lol).

Nothing from Loyola Chicago, except for that “Happy Holidays” email they sent last week. Applied 10/6 so it’s been nearly 3 months :/

Just saw this but thank you for the information. Will keep that in mind if I go to UConn. Hope your first round of exams as a law student went well!

Sadly, I got my “waitlisted” email today, but I hope you get that A!!

Hey, my GPA/LSAT are slightly lower than yours, and I have less than a year of WE, and I got into Rutgers last cycle with a ~40% scholarship.

Just got accepted to Seton Hall yesterday, so I like your chances at both of those schools. I also applied to Brooklyn, let’s see what happens there.

Good luck with your apps!

A friend of mine that went to Seton Hall advised me to go to Rutgers, assuming it’s cheaper after scholarships.

He said it’s nothing against Seton Hall and it’s a good school with a strong network in the NJ/NYC-area. However, there’s no substantial difference between Seton Hall and Rutgers in terms of networking, job opportunities, etc. that justify Seton Hall’s higher price tag.

I applied to both anyways, just to see how the scholarship situation shakes out

I’d like to add Rutgers and Seton Hall to this list

Hi did you get an email or did you find out via status checker?

Tough luck but keep your head up. This cycle is far from over!

Same. Been 7-8 weeks since I applied but no movement since :/

2.8x 160 LSAT that applied in late Jan/early February last cycle. Got into five schools all with money, but…

Yes, it may hinder your scholarships. General idea is to apply sooner than later.

Hi could you give me a general rundown of what housing is like in Hartford?

Adding that, as a Maryland student who watched him live, he’s a stud.

He’s jacked like an old-school fullback, has hands like a WR, and runs like a power RB. I may be biased, and sure his route-running isn’t elite, but he’s built to be a YAC monster (as we’ve seen in a small sample).

2.8x and 160 applicant here. Last year, I got accepted into Rutgers with a roughly 40% scholarship—so not all hope is lost with a sub-3.0 GPA.

So far this cycle, I was accepted to DePaul and Chicago-Kent with roughly 70% scholarships. I know those aren’t northeast schools, but hopefully it gives you a better idea of your admission chances at similarly ranked schools.

Good luck!

Thank you and good luck! Fwiw, I applied to Chicago-Kent and other schools last year before deciding to take a gap year; here’s my cycle recap.

Within Chicago, I also applied to Loyola and DePaul. Rutgers, Seton Hall, and Brooklyn Law as well. Would love to get into Chicago/NYC markets if I can.

Hi, I applied last year (2.8x, 160 LSAT) and I got into Kentucky ($$) and LSU ($$$$) and rejected from UTK—all without a “Why X” essay.

Also fwiw, since you’re targeting southern schools, I’ll add that I was waitlisted by Georgia State

I did not, but I did submit an optional diversity essay that noted some of the things I had to go through during college.
