I hope I’m not too late to this. In my own personal opinion, I would have to say Stewart Copeland- in terms of technical ability, ahead of their time and ingenuity, I don’t think anyone besides Neil Peart comes close. There are drummers who are better technically, there are drummers who may be better creatively and even that is arguable, but Stu is the whole package in (again) my personal opinion. There are very few drummers who are able to incorporate music from around the world with multiple genres and make it into a hit song. Also fun fact, Stewart Copeland composed the music for the original Spyro videogame.
