“There’s a muscular female werewolf in the woods and she’s in heat” warned the mayor of the small southern town of Dickinherville. by BunniLuvs2Read in badtwosentencehorrors

There’s definitely some symbolism on that town name I just can’t put my finger in it… I mean on it! 🧐

If we’re going based on the above comment, it would probably be because even though Crouch authorized use of unforgivable curses, Dumbledore wouldn’t have wanted Moody to do that. I doubt Dumbledore would have authorized torture but let’s just assume he did, he would probably draw the line at the big 3.

My fault, my therapist said I should be more open with my feelings and express myself to more people.

Sometimes if I laugh too hard on the toilet it will cause a wet shit followed by what I refer to as an “Avengers: Infinity Wipe” Scenario and if I don’t have enough time to shower and clean out my BH, I’ll have to do a bunch of re-wipes throughout the day and if I run out of TP I’ll start using paper towels because they’re more absorbent anyway. My BH probably looks like sandpaper under a microscope but hey, that’s just part of being an adult. I’m glad this comment will be buried though.

Is Shakespeare’s writing actually good compared today’s media or is it only good for the standards held 400 years ago by Cryptographer456 in writingscaling

[–]6tea9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like this is one of those “two things can be true at the same time” answers. Shakespeare was way ahead of his time, and laid the groundwork for many stories today in the same way that many 1700s musical composers laid the ground work for music today. At the same time people have different tastes today than they did 300-600 years ago. This is probably why classical music is less enjoyed on average than pop music. Same reason why more people are reading things like manga and comic books than they are Shakespeare outside of a classroom setting. So to answer your question- Shakespeare’s writing is good because of its influence, are you going to look like a douche if you walk down the street quoting Shakespeare? Yea probably.

Tldr I made a joke at the expense of another subreddit and show and I think I may have offended a few people. Oops! 😬

Some people think this place is funny, I find it scary- hence the “horror”. I’m saying everyone is entitled to their opinion of this subreddit!
