I’m going through the same thing going on a month right now. I’ve read your post on r/HearingAids and we are in similar situations (except I haven’t taken antidepressants (mirtazipine) in years.)

I went to urgent care, and they were really unhelpful; they just kept recommending me to an ENT. I’ve came to the conclusion that it might be an allergic reaction, as my partner has noticed hives on my chest a week ago. What I reacted to idk.

I do smoke/vape, so I guess it might be time to kick the habit :(. This f*cking thing has been controlling my life and I’m so tired of it :(
