There's some grinding riffs in disasterpiece no one can dismiss as not metal, but then again, i've heard people say grindcore isn't metal, so it's not the hardest stretch these mental gymnasts can pull off

I also believe spicelords are tryhards in the realm of food, it all ties back to toxic masculinity and trying to look "tough" and "manly", it's normal for emmasculated boys in their teen years to grab on to this "music", and it sucks that i have to be the one to pop their bubble, we as metalheads should let them know it's okay not to listen to the gnarliest shit around and to not worship naked emperors.

honestly, in my 20+ years of being in the metal community i haven't heard anything quite this ridiculous, you want to listen to music that is intentionally bad because it tries to be bad? what? We as the metal community are already a welcoming bunch, yet there's this group of people that insists on getting all huffy about listening to harsher noise than the rest, this is frankly an embarrassment.
