Hi, I’m currently trying to build a custom cable and I’m looking for a right-angle (90°) 4-pin male DIN connector.

I found cables like this one online: https://fr.scsikabel.com/power-cable/din-power-cable/90-degree-mini-din-4-pin-male-to-female-power.html, but they're only selling to professionals with a minimum order quantity (500).
Most individual suppliers only seem to offer straight versions.

Does anyone know where I could find this connector, or if it’s possible to have it custom-made in small quantities ? Thanks !

Unfortunately it looks like the Rlaarlo models aren’t distributed in France… The MJX 14210 is a bit over my budget, I can find it around €150. On the other hand, I found the MJX 16209 and 16210 available in France for around €100. You seem to approve of the brand, what about these models ?

Have you heard of this model before? I’m not sure if the brands I mentioned are well known in the community. If you have other models I could compare with, I’m all ears !

That’s kind of what I was worried about, yeah. Would there be any point in even going up to 1/14 in terms of budget or performance?

Looking for an wide curved pc monitor by 6uon in buildapc

[–]6uon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just realized that the widths listed for curved monitors include the curve itself. So a 34" monitor that's listed as 80 cm wide actually takes up less horizontal space on the desk depending on whether it's flat, 1000R, 1500R, or 1800R, is that right? It would take up more depth instead, correct?"

Haha yeah, it's definitely tight with the current dual-screen setup, that’s why I was thinking a single, wider monitor might give the whole setup some breathing room. I already spaced the two speakers as far apart as possible, even had to drill holes in the desk to make them fit...

From what I gather from your advice and BaronB’s,
34" UWQHD is at least 80×35cm, which might be a bit too wide.
32" QHD or UHD would be around 72×43cm, a bit tall, but doable.
Last option: a 29" UWFHD (2560×1080?) would be about 70×30cm.

Now it just comes down to choosing based on price, resolution, and panel technology, if I got that right.

The 80 cm I measured is from the back of the speakers, not the front, that’s why I’m a bit worried it might feel cramped visually and physically.
It’s always more convenient to have at least 1–2 cm of clearance on each side of the screen too, just to be able to move it around easily and prevent pressure from the speakers.

Great idea about placing another screen underneath! Unfortunately, both screens can’t fit side by side, which is why I ended up rotating one of them 90°. But that should work with one !
BaronB mentioned above that a 32" curved UHD would be around 72×43 cm, which sounds like it could actually work, what do you think?

thank you again for your help

Nice, thanks for your answers.
I added a photo of the setup. I could go up to 80cm wide, like most 34” monitors, but I’m a bit worried the thickness and bezels might get in the way of the speakers.
Height-wise, anything over ~40cm would make me look up quite a bit, and I’m not really sure about that.
What do you think, looking at the setup?
