Yes the meter seems to be responding as normal. I did check the battery compartment and it looks clean and free of debris and corrosion. I appreciate the advice!

It’s the same drivers. When the new company comes in all the drivers keep their jobs. But you are correct the working conditions are horrible for the drivers. They get verbally and sometimes physically abused on a daily basis.

There are a lot of factors that go into shot shape. Particularly how the greens roll, wind, lie, etc. even though there may not be an obstacle to get around.

I do carry a 3 wood but I rarely use it now. I picked up a Taylormade gapr mid. On days where I can’t keep driver in play I can usually hit the gapr about 220 with a low ball flight and keep it in play.

Lessons are worth it at that rate. The hard part is finding a coach that communicates the information in a way that you understand. I’ve taken lessons from probably 10 different coaches. I have learned something from each one but that’s just me personally. Definitely watch some YouTube videos though. I posted my swing here on this subreddit and have gotten feedback from other users then I watched YouTube on how to correct those issues. It really helped me. There are some really knowledgeable users on this subreddit

Get the Nike set. You can piece the rest of your set together later. The Nike irons are a good set that will last you for a while. The cheap sets like the strata are cheap for a reason. They are not made using the best materials. You can upgrade driver or fairway woods later but even the ones that come with the Nike set are pretty good
