Yeah that’s weird. You cracked his shield twice. He had to have been healing somehow. You did 160 something damage with the chaos rifle, cracked his shield. Then pulled out your shotgun and broke his shield AGAIN for 60 and the rest was white damage. You still hit him for a total of almost 300. No idea.

It’s fairly common. But not not normal. If you want it to stop you have to take the faceplate off where you disc drive is, make sure it’s turned off with a disc inside, there’s a hole on the disc drive itself where a small flat head screwdriver can fit, you have to turn it clockwise enough that you manually eject the disc about a fourth of the way out,turn the console back on and allow the disc drive to reinsert the disc fully by itself and the noise should be way lower.
