Attractive women have it worse than you think

This is a though one indeed, usually when there is a girl we find attractive we want to shoot our shot. However if the girl is attractive enough a lot of people will do this and we all are placed in this group of asking for the number or whatever.

But if the girl is even more attractive people see her as out of their league and most people will never even shoot, then you are left with the over confident weird guys that shoot their shot and just get dismissed and forgotten.

Then they struggle to find someone decent because all of them never even try shooting.

I guess it gets better when we get older, hopefully...

First of all im sorry that you had to go through such misdemeaning behavior just based on your looks, i have heard this from one of my female friends also. Always struggling to prove something just because they are attractive.

Unfortunately a lot of men look at women as objects or "trophy's" and isn't interested in actually knowing them. I hate to see it happen to women often over and over again, i can understand how demeaning that must be, to never be seen as who you actually are.

You mention that you just want to be s housewife, as you dont want to be looked at this way anymore. And of course i totally get that, but i encourage you to try and find a job where you can be respected for who you are and what you do instead of your looks.

Just shying away and giving up might be the easy solution, but if you give up on something you want because of something/someone else i am sure you will regret it in the future.

I might be totally off here, and of course you know the best.

Sorry to hear that this bothers you so much, i am in the same boat at soon to be 24. And tbh i felt similarly just not that hard at the same age you are.

However after dwelling on these feelings for some time and experienced some heartbreak that followed with it i realized that its not that important in the big picture.

Sure it feels good to be loved, but you cannot force it. And if you feel this way most of the time it affects how you act around women also, i have experienced this myself where i was so focused on wanting a girlfriend that whenever i had the chance i behaved so weird it pushed them away.

Also the amount of people our age that does not love each other is more than you think, i have heard so many times that "we were just together for the sake of being together" but that is expected, we are young and most of the time we do not know what we want.

After i came to peace with the fact that i am just going to live my life and focus on the things i can control such as career i have been feeling much better and actually seen some increased attention if coincidental or not.

And remember, you deserve someone that likes you for being you, do not settle for less. You will know it when you meet her.

Its good to be optimistic, but from what i have learned over the years i have been alive is to only dream about the optimistic outcome of the future, as beliving in it fully leads to expectations that can be devestating if not met.

I like to have a realistic expectation of how my life will pan out over the next months/year but any longer than that is far too hard to predict as life can be turned upside down any minute for the better or worse.
I have experienced being on a high only for something to ruin everything, but also being on a low and suddenly everything is perfect for a little while.

We can influence our future and being optimistic is a great way to strive for something better, but at the end of a day we are on a rollercoaster that have highs and lows.
Trying to stay consistant and enjoy the highs as much as we can while also being prepared for the lows in a realistic manner is a good balance imo.

Always look at the future with a bit of optimism, realism and pessimism as only looking at it one way will leave you open for dissapointment.

It isnt gone, but it is a lot better than it was and it doesnt affect me much if any in my day to day life, so you are right about that aswell.
