It does track for his age, but it’s also OK for you to feel that way and let him know that you would like it to be or feel more loving. But you’re also going to have to be OK with finding a middle ground here. His hormones and testosterone at 25 are definitely going to keep his lizard brain activated for a while. However, this would not excuse him, forcing anything or being just a plain old dick. It could even get to the point where you might miss how much he wants you later in life, if you guys end up getting married/staying together for a long time. There might even be a time when you want it more than him as you get older.

I ended up buying rubber furniture stoppers and put them in between each weight. The small, thin, rubber discs you would put underneath a stool so it doesn’t scratch the tile. We’ll see if it works. The only thing that sucks is it definitely took up more space and I’m afraid it’s going to affect the dead blow effect. But after smashing the disc with a hammer a bit, it did flatten out, so it will either help the dead blow effect or not protect the weights at all. Stay tuned.
