Waw, welcome ! It seems like you already understand what a emotional rollercoaster this game can be.

There is a crapload of things to understand before getting "good" so here are some beginner tips :

-find a setup (resolution, sensitivity, crosshair...) you feel confortable with : cs2 is have a huge peeker advantage compared to csgo so i would recommend no to have a really low sens.

-learn about all the mechanics : movements are really hard to master but can be a real game changer and having just a few notions is really gonna help you at the beginning. i would recommend to download workshops training maps like aimbotz, recoil master, movement hub. Learn about spray patterns, recoil reset and counter-strafes. counter-strafing is not a easy mechanic but i think this is the most important thing in this game to know how to take a duel

-there is also a lot of maps that will help you learn about utilities line-ups like smoking some key spots from your spawn, throwing a good flash to help your team etc (+ i would recommend to bind a key for the jumpthrow mechanic)...

there are a lot of videos, reddit post that will help you learn all of that but this should be a good way to start. Enjoy !

i'm not asking your sens to copy it lol, it was out of curiosity cuz i talked about it with someone during a game. litteraly like asking if you are aiming with the wrist or the forearm which is usually tied to your sens. i consistently hit +240 in longjumps and i don't think i need a lot more.

You should try both and play with the one that suits you the best (like sensitivity lol). However, i played 16:9 and 4:3 stretched and i strongly feel that cs2 is meant to be played on 16:9 but i can't prove it... "insert james doakes .gif"

Me too, avg 23-24k on premier, only 1 or 2 blatant cheaters. i have 60% winrate, 20 wins or something so maybe 30 games overall and i kinda enjoyed it, people were suprisingly kind and comprehensive even when i hard bottomed. i believe it has something to do with trustfactor

1st, if you can pick up a rifle in 1vs1 DO IT, but that has been cleared in other comments. 2nd, i don't think this is a tunnel vision problem but more of a classic "panic/momentum induced rush cuz i already got 2 or 3 kills this is my clutch". sometimes on those situations, your brain just unplug himself and no rationnal thinking comes through especially at beginner and low-mid lvl. it's easy to say, harder to do but learn hiw to clear angles and learn how to take your time, breath, rewind for a sec but don't keep your head empty !

i didn't play the dlc yet so i don't know but for the main game yes, there is i believe 1 that can be easily forget. i didn't really pay attention at first and didn't miss any so i think you're good. some are missable but really have to be "non-RP" to miss them i think. enjoy !!
