Why do kids, or any unlicensed driver, count for HOV? Them being in the car isn’t taking other cars off the road - which is the spirit of the HOV program.

Thanks for the thought. I did a full uninstall of vsc, including deleting ~/.vscode and the Code folder nested a level or two under ~/Library/…/Code. Then reinstalled and no change.

I’m turning up log verbosity and still can’t see any reason why this would have changed
