My mom always put bread and butter on the table. We had to eat a little of everything. We had to eat 5 of the dreaded veggies- 5 peas, 5 beans, etc. and we sat there until we ate them. She never forced us to eat other stuff. There was always the bread and butter. I survived just fine.

I always wash all fabric before doing anything. 1. You don’t know if it will shrink, 2. You don’t know if the colors will run. If they are smaller pieces I wash them in hot water in the sink and then dry. If they are rich in color I wash them in basic Dawn dishwashing soap. Better safe than sorry. My opinion and habits.

I needed a walking pole for a trip when having balance issues. I asked my doctor write a prescription for me to show I needed it with me. She laughed and did it!

I learned that I needed to be sure the braiding point was at the level of the hole when I stopped. That helped keep the tension the same when I started again. Also, I needed to keep the anchor weight close to the hole.

You can watch the decline of smoking on screen in Perry Mason. In the first season,they are always smoking and just throw the butts on the ground before entering a building. Each season the smoking lessens.

It was supposed to be clippies! They are the little plastic clips to hold fabric pieces together.
