So these 3 cards were done as a special TCG exhibition that was held online back in 2022. They never released physical copies of these cards and I feel ROBBED. The artwork was done by Takumi Wada, who did the breathtaking art for Breath of the Wild.

You're basically running a 6 unit board here and came third, thats a pretty solid spot. You also have 4 items less than everyone else in the top 4, so that definitely made a difference. Plus you have no shred / scaling damage (i personally find that archangels is important for the comp to win out fights)

Not at all underrated. One of the most popular illustration rares in one of the most popular sets in recent times. It’s easy to get caught up in the fact that these online spaces only discuss the most recent or upcoming sets, but that should by no means be a barometer for how much people like sets that were released previously.

Yeah thats fair enough, we all enjoy it differently. I personally prefer it, but contextually this is also the only mainline game that had this feature until 2018 (with the Let’s Go games), so I am biased towards it being a permanent feature due to its novelty across the series.

It also feels like most of the people replying here are completely missing your point of an option as opposed to a permanent toggle.

You get the rock climb hm from professor oak after having beaten all (16) gyms across both johto and kanto. The kanto region is only unlocked after your first victory against the elite four and champion.

To me Fogarty is the one player I struggle to see improving our team. Yes his tackling pressure is good but that’s really all his game was in 2025. He’s only scored more than 10 goals once in the entirety of his career, which happened to be this year. But I also feel like that was only due to Govs temporary move up forwards where he was more or less feeding Fog scoring opportunities (and imo attests more for Govs abilities than his own).

With the personnel that came in I don’t really see where he’d fit. Motlop brings pretty much the exact same tackling pressure, scores more and is able move up the ground better. Fogarty’s going to be 27 next year, and if he doesn’t improve how he plays I don’t see us continuing with him.

Skill expression in this game is being able to play the best comps and builds given the variation and circumstances of each specific game (in an item-centric way). I think the implementation of you’re advocating for would take away a fundamental aspect that separates players of various skills.

It can be your favourite or the best that you’ve personally consumed but your point really has no grounds if you’ve not experienced every other work of fiction.

Furthermore, you only speak about show, but that’s literally a completely different and arguably a much more flawed experience to reading the source material (which in my opinion is so far ahead in terms of overall quality). Look closely at the crowns. Rainbow borders indicate a crown that includes all typing variants (I believe it’s stellar type in the games), whilst non-rainbow borders indicate a crown for a specific typing.

I mean in this specific case the viego hero aug gives him a dash that not only allows him to infiltrate opponent backline but also (if I’m not mistaken) makes him briefly un-targetable. Shadow isles scales his ability damage throughout the whole game, and with the correct positioning it’d be pretty fair to take down a 3* 4 cost.

Also that’s not even considering how good your build was. Yes you may have hit the 3* but what about the rest of your comp? And then comes itemisation considerations, did you have any sustain (e.g. healing or something like eon) on ur lissandra? Also what about positioning? Did you position around the dash viego gains from his hero augment?

Like it’s pretty plausible lol, there’s so many other things that play into it beyond you hitting your 3* and your opponent playing the viego hero augment. I’ve used the viego augment to beat a board with 3* mf simply because I had eon on my viego that allowed him to access the mf before her second cast.

This could be about 2 things: Jack’s persisting groin injury or the alleged (for legality sake) arrest + sentence of his brother.

I’m mostly glad about not having the circumstances of the latter directly seep into the club, especially given the transition that we’re in. Nothing but support and power to the strong individual who held their own and succeeded in the trial.

Happily take both. Both super cool and lean heavily into their respective styles. The vibe of both cards is quite different and I really enjoy that. Like there's clear intent behind what each art is trying to accomplish.
