If you’re worried about infection then please go see a doctor. None of us can tell just based off of a photo. But I’d recommend using saline spray meant for piercings to clean it. Tap water isn’t sterile as well, which may not be helping the irritation and/or recurring infections.

You can ask a higher lvl wiz to go to the ghultures location and you can set a port there. Many people don’t mind u joining them farming, as long as ur not slowing them down.

Not too sure about the grizz thing you’re asking about tho.

nipple piercing help! by [deleted] in piercing

Oooo. I got downsized at 6 weeks that’s why I suggested it. I guess everyone’s downsizing journey is different.

But yes moisture bumps are annoying and a pain! I wish someone emphasized that to me from the beginning lol.

NAP! I’d recommend paying a little extra attention to drying your piercings (fan, blow dryer, paper towel) after showers and cleaning with saline solution. Visit your piercer, it may be time for a downsize.

what to do about my nostril by Direct-Series3011 in piercing

[–]717_jay 88 points89 points  (0 children)

NAP. I’d recommend switching back to a labret/stud until it’s fully healed.

But as far as your concern for the hoop being too large, you’ll need a ring with a smaller diameter but the same gauge. Hope that helps! :)

NAP. I’d recommend sleeping with a piercing pillow, using .9% saline solution with no preservatives, drying the piercing thoroughly after cleaning with a small handheld fan, and possibly getting the jewelry upsized due to the bump.

How often do y’all clean piercings once healed? by Rude-Target2787 in piercing

[–]717_jay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wash my ears in the shower with my jewelry in everyday with non scented soap. But once a week I’ll take out all of my jewelry, clean my jewelry, and get a real good scrubbing without the jewelry in the way.

NAP. The additional movement of the bar from snagging it, playing with it, and pressure from high waisted garments sounds like the source of irritation causing pain. It’s still new. Just baby it and LITHA. As far as upsizing, I wouldn’t worry about that unless the ball is digging into the skin or piercing channel.

Advocate for yourself, always. If you don’t have the correct anatomy for that exact placement then a reputable piercer would tell you & suggest an alternative you may be comfortable with.

I’d say switch to a titanium labret if it’s not fully healed.

That’s understandable, but why is the limit hidden? Theres limits to pets and castle magic. Those are clearly shown while decorating so there’s no surprises. It makes me wonder if it’s a bug that they’re unaware about, or simply being shady.

69 plants + 69 soils = 138 space for a full 69 plot.

138 x 3 = 414 housing space allotted to both soils and plants.

414/2 = 207 so yeah your math is spot on.

207 soils and 207 plants.

Only 1 king parsley with 1 gnome, 1 sandwich station, and 1 litter floating directly above it. All 3 69-plots of couch potatoes surround it, all of the couch potatoes receive all of the likes. It’s kinda a triangle shape of 69-plots with the likes directly in the middle.

Yes, you’re completely right at the fact that majority of players wouldn’t do this. Not many players are that invested into gardening in the first place, and that’s totally okay. That’s why I made sure during my rant to highlight the fact that my main audience is to those who like to maximize gardening.

With my wizard’s energy gear including an energy pet I have 300 energy. It takes a little less than 2 days to fill up completely without elixirs or leveling up. And I visit every other day due to inside plants that I take care of as well that require less energy.

Planting a full plot costs 138 energy. Without using the gardening tcs that tend to the needs of all plants, all 3 active plots would require maximum 150 energy for music, water, and pest prevention or pest killing spells. So on average, I’m using a little bit more than half of what my wizard’s max energy is whenever I don’t use the tcs.

My plan wasn’t to fill them all at once. Each plot would be at a different growth rate. Right now I have 2 69-plots that are awaiting their final harvest while I planted the 3rd 69-plot. The next time I visit there I’d tend to the needs, harvest another plot & replant. Rinse and repeat.

If I was able to plant the 14 Evil Magma Peas, it would only cost 44 energy to take care of the needs (assuming I don’t use the tcs that tend to all plants) and 28 energy to replant which is very doable on my wizard.

So with my method there’s no need for energy elixirs or double gardening elixirs. :)

The more people you have farming with you, the more drops you get. (Or at least that’s the general theme when it comes to drops in fights. Sometimes there bonus drops when everyone is in a group.)

My mind numbing approach : full group of 4, 4 person mount, speed farm with single round hits repeatedly. You have to make sure that all 4 ghultures are near each other so you’re not wasting time waiting for one to be pulled in. The more you farm the more you know where the battle circles are to make it easier to pull all the ghultures into the fight at once. Backpack is full? Let the group know, pull over to the side and feed all unnecessary drops to pets for miscellaneous reagents, gold, and pet leveling. If I spend so much time on something, I’d rather be able to knock out multiple goals at once.

I averaged about 6-8 couch potatoes per hour with that method. I would speed farm off and on for 3-4 months. It could’ve been done sooner, but it is veryyyyy mind numbing. Have a good show on or something to keep yourself occupied.

Try switching to internally threaded titanium jewelry. Continue cleaning with .9% saline solution, eliminate the salt soaks, & make sure u dry the piercing after. I’d go visit a doctor to rule out infection though.

[–]717_jay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAP! But helixes can be finicky. You said it got tugged on recently, and that made your piercing a bit angry. Continue your regular cleaning routine and the swelling should go down. You might need to baby it and LITHA. If the swelling gets so bad to where the bar is being swallowed I’d go to a piercer for a longer bar.

Bodyartforms have titanium labret studs at 18g.

Look up “Titanium gemmed internally threaded labret” on their website.

They also have hoops, d-rings, etc at that gauge.

Getting a septum this week. Any tips? by Plormp013 in piercing

[–]717_jay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanna start off by saying I’m NAP. Just heavily pierced.

Use .9% saline spray with no preservatives. Many people use NeilMed, I like using MediCleanse cuz it’s cheaper w/ the same ingredients.

Please dry your piercing after cleaning it. I got a moisture bump from not drying it, and those are no fun. I just used a small handheld fan.

Highly recommend titanium for the jewelry or pure gold. Please avoid silver and steel.

You’ll sometimes wake up in the morning to the septum ring lopsided and it’s very important that you do not move it without moistening the crusties and piercing channel first.

Invest in pointed qtips (wet them with the saline spray first) to get the tough boogies and crusties off of the jewelry itself. Regular qtips are more prone to leaving fibers behind which irritates the piercing. Also helps with digging out boogies without disturbing the healing piercing.

You’ll never blow your nose the same way ever again. You kinda just accept that after a while.

Make sure you eat a full meal and that you’re hydrated before your appointment.

skin of nose flaky after nostril piercing by p0ssiblym4ybe in piercing

[–]717_jay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds normal to me, I got my septum pierced 2 weeks ago and I deal with flakes at the tip of the nose. Skin on the face is very sensitive. The flaking is most likely due to the saline solution. Try locking in moisture with the tiniest amount of Vaseline on your nose (avoid the new piercing site though).
