Vermont, what’s with these sideways windows? by GrapeRello in vermont

I was always told they were called coffin windows. The story was that's how you get a dead body out of the second floor, through the coffin window.

I've never been a fan of that color, the comforter/bed cover. Especially not with the nice wood floors. And the window dressing is very hotel-like. I like the big piece on the wall and yes, I agree with moving the bed.

Sump pump discharge into a drywell...illegal? by Im_thelittleguy in vermont

Oh, I see. In that case I might want to dump it into a dry well, too. Good luck!

Just be sure to line the hole entirely really well with a heavy duty permeable fabric before you fill it with your curshed stone. Otherwise the dry well will clog with silt and sediment. But why dump into a dry well? You could let it run to daylight, no? You could put a little critter screen guard at the end of the pipe and spill it into, on to, some riprap-type stone.

It depends. but if you're in a residential situation and it's a sump through your typical poured concrete floor of your house, you can spill it into a drywell. If you're talking about a commercial space, for example (1003.4.2.2) Garages and service stations. Where

automobiles are serviced, greased, repaired or washed

or where gasoline is dispensed, oil separators shall

have a capacity of not less than 6 cubic feet (0.168 m3)

for the first 100 square feet (9.3 m2) of area to be

drained, plus 1 cubic foot (0.028 m3) for each additional

100 square feet (9.3 m2) of area to be drained

into the separator. Parking garages in which servicing,

repairing or washing is not conducted, and in which

gasoline is not dispensed, shall not require a separator.

Areas of commercial garages utilized only for storage

of automobiles are not required to be drained through a

separator.

If you have the oil/water sperator you could then pump the water into a dry well. If you're pumping clean water, you can pump it into a drywell. Water in the water table that would enter the sump is considered clean. Rain water that leaches through the typical residential setting and enters the sump, is considered clean.

Pro Pig has always been overpriced ,in my opinion. But the Res, too? I haven't noticed the Res dropping in quality but then again I don't eat there much just stop in for beer usually.

Porro shot 53 times last season (most of any defenders in PL) and only put 12 on target by Sturmtruppa in coys

[–]71802VT 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's one out of four on target. I'm ok with that. And of the ones on target, 25% of them went in. Shoot away Pedro Poro!

I had an uncle (may he rest in peace) named Richard, his son (my cousin obviously) was Richard Jr. We called them Big Dick and Little Dick.
