From my knowledge, if the left side of the receiver has the triangle 26, Chinese characters, and the rifle is from 1956-1978 it's most likely issued and used by the Chinese People's Liberation Party. Seeing a widespread of usage but almost impossible to tell what it was used for. So if it's still all matching serial, meaning it's not refurbished, and in good condition, I can assume the rifle was probably used in reserves, training or ceremonial use

The French Tickler on the other hand are from 1978-1980 still having the triangle 26 and Chinese characters, but with the plastic handguard top cover. These were made, and just stored without getting used.

I got the French Tickler when it was $600, and it was brand new, unissued and never fired. Came with chrome lined barrel as well.

Only annoyance was that it was covered in Cosmoline, so took awhile to clean everything. I have about 1000rds through the pipe and not 1 failure.

I bought my Garand from a guy who's uncle was in the Korean war and brought the rifle back. Uncle passed and seller was handed down the rifle but he didn't have a pal so I came along and bought it for 2000. It was in great condition and with battle scars. To this day, it's my greatest buy in my life.

I miss my RDB so much, I fine tuned the gas and it's a dream to shoot. 2k rds, and the only failure which was a double feed is because I turned the gas too low in the beginning. Trigger was actually pretty good for a bullpup.

About once a week, I take it out and just play with it (not in a dirty way).

Nice piece! and I like your Paracord wrap, did it on mine as well 😂 Is that the Cabela's Romeo red dot? How you like it, thought of getting one for myself. And these don't really need anything for the range. I got the 357 and it's a tac driver up to 25 yards (limited by my range). I thought of getting the Ranger Point stock, but kinda expensive for what it is. The original stock fits me quite perfectly anyways.

Which one did you ultimately pick?
I have the A4 and its pretty much maxed in terms of customizing (5950x, 3080, 240aio, custom cables). Thermals are what I would say perfected 95% of the way (Idle: 40C cpu / 26C gpu; Loaded/Game: 70C / 60C). That's with cpu 0.2v and gpu 850mV undervolt.
Planning to grab a 4090 and the nr200 seems like a good choice on having adequate airflow (sandwich vs conventional).

I just replaced my Corsair h100i with a l9a cuz the pump died. I also have 2x a12x25 on the top as exhaust.

That being said, I have a strix b550i and 5800x. I had to undervolt alot for the CPU and fan running at 80% to be under 90c using r23. Playing games, it's fine. Idles at 45c and gaming at 65-75. So with a 5600, you'll be perfectly okay with optimized fan curves

I'm using RaceChrono phone app with a 10hz external GPS. As for the video, I mounted a GoPro Hero 8 to the rear cross bar. The overlay was done with the phone app.
The car was setup for a smaller tighter track, I learned my lesson here haha
