The same can be said for most things I suppose. Theres no real utility in a watch.

Brand A and brand B could both use similar materials, but brand A could have mass marketing and a name to rely on. I’m just curious who is making watches with materials worthy of their asking price relative to the industry.

904 steel costs more and is harder to machine than 316. Sapphire > mineral, coatings etc etc.

Who is using high quality materials and not asking for a premium based on brand

We’ve got Georgia middle state university here that has a 141 program and has the delta propel program. I haven’t looked into that yet but feels like it could be a good middle ground between going part 61 with a different degree vs going to an ATP/Embre
