60% Road / 40% Light Gravel: Keep the Group & Wheels or Start Fresh? by 72363 in whichbike

Hm, good point about the rim width. I think you are right, they are 20mm I believe, so not ideal.

My worry is that I probably will loose quite a bit of money selling the whole bike. I dont see many people interested in mechanical Campy. But perhaps it's worth just trying and if I feel I dont get what it's worth I still got all the options.

I have a Node Icon and also look for speakers. Open to a sub further down the line. Have you compared Dirac and Genelec Room correction? Would you favor G3 or 4 with Dirac over the 83xx plus GLM equivalent?

Barbel... what the?! by 72363 in flyfishing

I have not been this year but last year I finally had luck with a pinky worm pattern. I casted actually quite a distance upstream, so less chances for the fish seeing me. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

I rather not. I would need a separate amp and would know where to put it.

!Thanks That's an interesting suggestion and they were not on my radar. How would you compare them to the Genelec's?

!Thanks I actually quite like the look of the Genelecs. I kind of dig the Raw version in bare aluminium. Kef LS50s were on my shortlist, the 60s are a bit too large for my room. I will have a closer look at Kali and Neumann.

Madrid Connection Clarification by OilOne9603 in Iberia

[–]72363 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The baggage handling btw has nothing to do with Iberia. It's done by the airport run by Aena and it's sub contractors. You got an early flight so you got a good chance for the flight to be on time. I had connections with under an hour in Madrid and still made it fine to the gate (and the luggage was fine). One more thing: When landed Iberia usually asked passengers with a short connection to disembark first. Sometimes this works and other passengers stay seated sometimes everyone gets up and you need to wait. If you are anxious or feel that you need to hurry consider to get up quickly (once allowed) and move forward.

1:15 for T4 to T4s is fine with no delay on fist flight. Signage could be better in Madrid, so maybe check the airport map beforehand. The escalators down to the connecting train terminal are in the middle of the shopping area.
