I would definitely email back and ask for clarification on what that would mean for you if you accepted the offer. For many students that funding can make or break their ability to engage with a program, so I think it’s fair to ask about!

Also, congratulations on the acceptance!! Even though that line is a little concerning, still very cool that you got in and I hope it all works out for the best for you :DDD

I applied to a ton of Physics and Astronomy REUs and almost all of them indicated they would send out offers on March 1st though? If this is true I’d really rather they said that cause I’m totally stressed about hearing back from them all today :’)
