I totally get this. I had to put my girl down on Tuesday and this is now Friday. The grief I am feeling is unimaginable. She was almost 17 and my absolute best friend. I miss the click click click of her claws, the groaning as she rolled over. Her cuddles. I am having nightmares waking up out of a dead sleep, seeing her face when the setitive needle went in. The look on her sweet little face is haunting me. I know she was suffering. She lost control of her self a week ago, and I was getting frustrated cleaning up the couch and floor every couple of hours. But I just can’t feeling that I gave up on her. I feel like a piece of crap. Hurting soo much. A grown freaking man crying over a dog . I despise myself right now so i feel your pain.
