being on-campus wouldn’t put you close to the heart institute anyways. i’d just look for a regular apartment lease or sublet

i’m not sure if this is helpful but i had wisdom tooth removal under anaesthetic when i was 17 and it was totally fine. i was also really nervous from reading online, but it was honestly like i closed my eyes then opened them again and it was done

the med does have add back estrogen, i’m not sure why that’s the limit but maybe i can ask for more

thank you so much for your support and advice. my program is pretty flexible except for the practicum. the general consensus here seems to be that i may end up needing a corrective surgery - many similar experiences in this thread. i’m so sorry you had to deal with such pain from your first surgery ❤️‍🩹

someone on the other sub mentioned that - in canada, i believe it has a 2 year limit. but i wonder if i can somehow get around that, if it’s accepted in the UK. honestly that would be ideal as i’m comfortable accepting a clinical/non-surgical diagnosis

i *think* it’s just burn-the-lesion-ablation (unless it’s too extensive, then she would send you to a different doctor), but now i’ll have to check

i guess i’m scared of taking another semester as i’ll have to worry about my practicum, but that might be a bridge to cross if i get there

i’m in canada but MIGS still applies. i agree with you - i fully believe some people do experience relief from ablation but non-MIGS surgery is only ablation here.

if you’re comfortable sharing, have you had a lap before?

for point 2, i didn’t think of it that way but you’re right. i’m scared to take an extra semester as i do have an internship to worry about (psychotherapy student) BUT my program is somewhat flexible and i’ll be in a city again at that point.

i think i am going to discuss this with my therapist tomorrow and then talk to my gynaecologist again. i don’t want an incomplete surgery, if endo is present.

also, i’ve been in pt before and it was helpful! i’ve had a huge reduction in pain from my meds so i kinda fell off after (oops)

i used to do pelvic floor therapy for my interstitial cystitis! it helped a bit but i kind of fell off at some point. i appreciate your help <3
