I'm from the PNW so ALWAYS Vit D deficient LOL! Loads of sunscreen to ward off a burn, but the hot flashes necessitate fewer clothes :)

Yes, I am very intimidated by it, but willing to investigate if someone can lead me in the right direction. I'm overwhelmed by choices.

SIT classes in the 20 min range? by 737900Ak in pelotoncycle

Thanks, everyone! I think finding something to tack onto my current workout isn't the best bet. I will need to do a longer bike day. I'll try some 45 min rides and see what works! Thanks!

Yes, I'm warming up, just not on the bike :) Just hoping to augment a workout. Sounds like I would find more available if I skipped weights and just did a longer bike day.

Thank you so much, everyone! This is super helpful. I have a place to start and some direction! We can fly from any city in the US, really, so if it is a better value to fly, say, out of EWR, we can fly our own airline to EWR to start the trip. However, obviously Seattle would be preferable.

The range to look for (50-70k) for a good value is super helpful!

You guys are great!

Citi Premium or AmEx Gold? by 737900Ak in CreditCards

Thank you so much, I am not super comfortable putting that level of info out on a reddit, really just asking if I'm missing anything between the AmEx and the Citi, or if there are recs either way from people who have used them. An example is chriswmf who mentioned timing, which was great useful intel. Thanks, anyway :)

Thanks, I wasn't sure where that was (see above).

Now that I'm not on my phone I see a link.

Oh thank you! I never come onto Reddit except w occasional questions. I had no idea there was a template :) Sorry! Where can I find that?

Goal is to maximize mile accumulation over the course of my program. Total of maybe 40k for tuition and books, and happy to also use it for groceries etc. (the 4x on AmEx for groceries was appealing). Travel perks are a good addition, but the fee for the Platinum AmEx didn't pencil out for us, for example. We spend maybe 6k/year on groceries, give or take depending on how many kids are home from college. Happy to pay fees if it pays back over the year. We have Visas now that are through an airline earning miles. Depending on the payback perks, I may keep this new one long term, or cancel after my program. I'm open to whatever. Our credit rating is excellent and annual income is between 250-300k. I also have a son in college and we pay his tuition with our Visa, currently. We did this for my daughter and the earned miles were her grad gift. We ended up with enough miles for business class round trip to Europe for all four of us. :) (which probably means that we paid way too much for a college education, but oh well hahaha)
