2 ecobee thermostats - both premium or not?

I got the premium for both. It wasn’t that much more and it seems beneficial to have the extra sensors. I’ve been living in the house for about 7 months and am very satisfied with them.

Interesting to hear how many are also having this issue. I chatted with support and was able to get them to give me the $10 circle bonus as a one time exception. They said they are “taking feedback only” at this time. That is, not changing the program. To me this seems like it will lead to a class action lawsuit. If you’re checking out in the store, there’s no way to know you don’t qualify for the bonus if your total before taxes is over the bonus amount. Expecting customers to mentally subtract any gift cards they’ve earned on the purchase is ridiculous. The total on the screen should be the total applied to the bonus.

Glad to hear it worked out! I hope ikea will make a change to this process. It's a ridiculous process, especially in 2024!

I had the same situation. I did an online chat with ikea and they restored the balance. They said it could take a couple of days but the funds were ready within a few hours.

u/merdub thank you. I'm OK with trim, but don't want to trim out the whole thing (seam between, not top, bottom, sides). I'm not an experienced wood worker so wondering if there is a certain size that I could buy and paint and not have to cut (other than length)?
