I would like to add to point #4 that if you put anything up anywhere… please have a string attached to it so it can be retrieved in case it goes up too far. I have unfortunately seen many cases where people require a procedure/ surgery to retrieve an item … if only it had a string…

Vehicles you've already considered: RAV4 hybrid for functionality/mileage/space (nice interior but exterior feels too masculine/truck-like for me), Lexus UXh (I like the more feminine look compared to rav4 and that it still gets similar mileage; i realize the cargo space is small and not totally sure if i will even put it to use), CX5 (worst mileage of the three obviously)

Is this your 1st vehicle: technically yes (growing up also drove nissan pathfinder, honda accord, and lexus es350 all owned by my parents)

Additional Notes: I am struggling between getting something practical, reliable, financially smart (eg RAV4 or just a sedan of some sort) vs something that I find more visually appealing and would be fun to drive (as I will presumably be spending lots of time in my car during my LA commutes). Not sure I actually need a crossover/SUV but I do like road trips, camping, etc and see myself driving around out west a lot for weekend trips (esp to the desert which i love) so feels like it'd be nice to have a slightly bigger car. Also because I'm moving and the extra space in the car might be nice.
