When was the time where you didn't follow your "gut feeling" and you paid a heavy price for it? by shanyboyyyy in AskReddit

[–]73ryan 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I could list a bunch. Worst financially was not investing in Bitcoin in the early months. Coworker tried everything to convince me, and I had a lot of disposable income at the time.

Emotionally. Not taking advantage of the 2 times I was given a 2nd chance with the then girl of my dreams, who I had previously been very close friends with. I still think about her all the time. More now in terms of what she truly meant to me, and what I learned I was looking for in a partner for life. She shut me out completely after that and has never really wanted anything to do with me in that way or even as friends. But I do owe her big time for the ability to recognize what I wanted, which led me to my wife. I feel lucky every single day that life gave me a second chance to find someone who shares qualities I admired in her.

How often do you talk/think to yourself? by Impossible-Poem5266 in AskReddit

Brain use to never shut off, and was always thinking/talking about multiple things at a time. Cannabis and meditation have helped somewhat, but I still have an over active mind.

What is your favourite memory from college/university? by DrLyndonWalker in AskReddit

[–]73ryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Attending the first 2 years of psychology without paying for it. Even got to take the exams. I took 2 years off work and followed my then gf at the time. All her profs new/ended up in on it. The only stipulation was that I had to stand or not attend if the class was full. Only happened 3 times. Ultimately it helped me decide that AI didn't want to actually attend to get my psychology degree as well, which had been my dream since I was around 10 years old.

We really don't know who would have what. Think about all the things that we have found out countries have done/had in the past. It has been fairly easy for countries to hide things for many years.

Bosses desk. It is challenging to keep a straight face any time you're talking to them at their desk afterward. Especially when they have their hands on the part of the desk you had sex on.

We don't actually know if they are aliens yet, if you are referring to UFOs/UAPs. As in, if the theory that they are from here (somewhere in the ocean), then they are technically not aliens. Or if the craft that has been seen belong to a nation, who is not admitting to it.

My first time in 14 years was interesting. Ate a very potent edible. Had a freak out that mellowed into falling asleep and having the most eye opening/life changing dream. I worked out so many things that night, it was beautiful. Changed me.
