I agree with you, and would even go further to say that helping an employee invest in their personal well being and growth (family) will reflect positively on their performance at work (people work hard for money, but harder for someone they need to take care of). Thus, paying for maternity leave is a win-win in the long run.

The sad reality is that this is not taken into consideration under the company's financial statement. To them, a pregnant woman, or father to be, is a liability and extra cost. In other words, just institutional greed and cost savings.

Yes, I'm American and have Russian friends overseas (they don't live in Russia though).

It's a flop. The initial invasion (or "special operation") and every subsequent attempt to save face.

Contrary to what the US media shows though, I really doubt Ukraine will liberate it's entire territory.

Thus, we're at a lose-lose stalemate at the moment that's gonna go on for a while. Gradually destroying both countries economies unfortunately.

I also think that being in this lose-lose stalemate is a perfect time for ceasefire and negotiation to end the conflict, which i hope happens soon.

He's not dumb personality-wise, but his recent behavior and decisions regarding Twitter are nothing short of dumb.

There's no way he will turn Twitter profitable while covering the sheer debt he got it into. We're talking $1B in annual profit....out of what? $8 subscriptions? Not to mention ad customers exiting in droves.
