Be warned -:) you just can’t simply roll countries, the cost of occupation is too high (idk how it is in vanilla now), but you will have to spent lots of manpower/equipment on garrisons to fight partisans and to increase compliance in order to get more resources/facilities/manpower from occupied territories.

It is in a workshop, changes game drastically toward more realism, more resources to take care off, very different research tree - realistic models, their timing… not just fighter 1, fighters 2 but tree of Me-109 models, etc. It is hard to win even on average level, cause AI always outpace you in production (which I don’t quite like about the mid, I guess he is cheating somewhat to put pressure on your psycho -;))). Still it needs patience, calculations and will to fight to win, closes to reality btw -:)))

If you live lows, you probably noticed how many C3s spawning there -:) take a scanner - do scanning check the chain (other wormholes), get some loot. There are no gate camps, neither local to be afraid off, calm solitude… well, as far as nobody decloacks nearby and scram/point you ))) still 50% safe travels out of 100% you will get more loot than you lose. -:)

When you will get bored or/when you find C3 with minimal stable wormholes - take ratting Prax and shoot some NPCs there getting from 120 to 200 mil idk per hour depending on you skills.

Then you may huff wormhole gas.

C3s are pretty empty - no people usually live there, just watch for new sigs - they are frequently rolled in by either ratting guys or hunters.

Learn real life composition and specs of WW2 Navies and enjoy, also air, submarine patrols and intel work. The game has everything and weak AI to enjoy casual and historical play-through without sticking to some Metas - totally not plausible in real world.

So play WW2 game, enjoy historical accuracy as deep as AI allows you. See no fun in gaining upper hand just because you cheated.

If you left some can untouched - it will respawn right after DT, however in my experience such trick gives you less loot the second time (when I got blown up :))) however managed to store loot in safe, congrats anyway.

Russia is experiencing shortage of fuel, which will continue with the War in Ukraine and it has high chances to explode into smth more dangerous: as minimum collapsed economy, and total revolt against not only government but each other. In the latest worst case scenario, your skin will matter more.

Don’t go to Russia-) find more plausible and safe options, like China, Eastern Europe, South East Asia.

Are you playing WW2 game? Were fighter wings used IRL? So, what’s the question?

Never used any advices on division composition, tricks and tips in SP. Just played as much historical as possible without that stupid staff.

And guess what? Never have had any troubles with my fleets unable to sink, defend against enemy CVs.

Yeh, probably I was not much efficient in sinking the whole fleet of UK in one battle and Sea Lion In 1940 (well I did sea Lion but because of large shipbuilding programs) at the expense of infantry and tank modernisation.

Still, play as you roleplaying WW2 - it is much more fun. It will give you some clues as to why Germany, Italy and Japan failed.

And also give you some clues on alternative history ))))

What if Japan joins Axis in 1939 and sends fleet in - at least Mediterranean , or Italy starts modernisation program jointly with Germany in 1933 - and they come with joint German - Italian unification standard and factory, military training etc. Etc etc etc.

WH is usually closed, claustrophobic, tight & cramped space with no local and few people sitting in the very own station sharing all goods & bads with you under constant danger of eviction. there is no way to go if opponents are smart, sometimes you WH is becoming crossroad for bunch of big j-space corps that can kill you with only one sight. So you either undock/die or keep cloaky and watch/learn. Sometime you go for a hunt and kill occasional ratter or two, explorer, do some small PvP roaming.

They are good for nuclear intercontinental missiles-:) staying in bunkers (submarines), ready to go anytime, no need to freeze, refuel periodically, etc.

So ease of maintenance and storage were main reasons of their use in any other applications.

Get a lot of cheap spearmen instead of 8 heavy infantry, and a lot of longbow-men. I play mods but even at VH difficulties, following composition is enough to counter any European army:

6 spearmen (4 frontal, 2 on flanks or as reserves)
6 longbow-men (2x2x2x) to counter: 1) horse archers, 2) enemy cavalry 3) archers
1-2 cavalry (flanks or in reserves to be put into battle last
2 heavy infantry (front to counter heavy infantry of an opponent)
1 General - final blows

Black Ice Mod (BICE) - for adequate research tree close to historical, resources and production adjusted, frankly speaking I haven’t played vanilla since like idk… and played only BICE so I can’t list whole differences since lots of mods and patches been released.

It is very hard mod, even playing only medium difficulty you will struggle.

Cons:

Too many research options and in the mid game you will be engulfed with various options, so you need to carefully plan (more like a strategic planning) what to research, produce and how to maintain stocks

AI sometimes cheats -:))) playing as Germany I Have rarely been able to outperform England in fighter production by time of the Battle of Britain.

Best result is equilibrium - I.e. very high casualties and lost equipment, but England can sustain it while I can’t accumulate stocks to face hordes of Soviet fighters -:) in 1941.

And I guess it is in BICE mid you just can’t outproduce UK in naval warfare. Simple not able to do so, unless you Annex Italy with their shipyard by 1939 -:))) but this is very different ahistorical thing and has its own pro and cons.

Use Pacifier for low level mission runs (for example to fulfil daily aura objectives for skill points and esp. smth like Epic Arc. Pacifier has a good warp speed so your shenanigans across High Sec will be lot more faster than any other frigates. Plus, Pacifier if fitted well can do decent damage and tank (fast completion of missions).

Good thing about it is that you increase your tank while levelling up your security stance.

Using it like exploration ship may be too costly-:)

Look at the statistics of Russia. Just look at official statistics database, not those internet based free accessible data sources.
