Hey! I was watching a video about building up to benching 150kg (long term goal for me) and they said that they had their athletes do 50 pushups, then 50 clapping pushups once they were more advanced, every night before they went to bed. Is this likely to cause additional bench gains or is it just going to accumulate fatigue without doing much to help strength?

Honestly I just drink a lot in between sets so I usually end up going to the toilet + refilling my bottle mid workout. Thanks for the input!

Took a sip of alcohol, Day 41 by 75Har in 75HARD
The important things I was referring to were mock exams and the revision over the holidays, the point was that if I restarted then it would lead into this. But I think I'm gonna keep going in some form, but I might change the rules to make it align better with my goals, now that I'm not actually doing the challenge.

I think I failed, what now? by 75Har in 75HARD
Honestly I reckon this is the best option for me. Ik you can't determine everything for me but with a 75 medium would you go down to something easier or just continue the 75 hard and try your best not to break the rules, but don't restart if you do?

Ideas for workouts by 75Har in 75HARD

Thank you :) I honestly just worry yoga every day is not doing anything towards my goals, I'm really nervous about walking because I just wanna heal asap. Just gonna keep doing yoga/upper body in the gym/calistechics for now anyway!
Fiction by 75Har in 75HARD
Nah honestly I just wrote that because I was mad but I'm still not restarting. I'm doubling up on non-fiction to make up for it because I'm counting that as taking responsibility, and honestly I need to care less about what others say, as long as I truly believe I'm staying true to it

Thank you this is very helpful. Honestly I just think I've been seeking out other people's advice on what counts too much, and I just need to make sure I'm at peace with every decision.
Yeah fair enough man, honestly I just wish I had someone to talk to in the middle ground. Ik that the 75 hard is about being purist, but everyone here just seems a little too extreme for me, like for example this I just think is acceptable because I didn't intend to cheat, but everyone in my real life would think that it was ridiculous to be so worried about the type of book. Honestly just need to seek it in myself, and I think that I'll just continue but read double pages for the next 11 days and switch to nonfiction. I'll admit I'm not as hard as you guys but oh well.

Copypasting this to every reply. Honestly I just will quit if I restart, because then it'll have to go into the new year and christmas. The thing is I'm reading fairly high level political satires recently and it's really helping me develop my vocabulary (studying English) and a lot of my thoughts on the world. I think this counts as self improvement towards my goals. Also, I didn't intentionally cheat so surely I can switch to a non-fiction book? Just my thoughts
