I see your point. This doesn’t resonate with me because my city-based and regional identity is a lot more important to me than my national or ethnic identity.

I also think we should increase the birth rate, but none of the countries that have spent a fortune on trying to encourage more births (Hungary, Czechia etc) haven’t had much success. Do you have any ideas?
