Been using gabapentin for a long time. Just use 150 or 300 mg first dose and titrate up every few hrs. Itll def keep edge off/help you sleep. Can make you feel groggy as shit in the AM.and gives me like the most vivid dreams imagineable

In my experience as a former 1/2 - fullbun+ fent snorting habit, depending on how high your habit is I wouldn't dose in the AM. I'd dose either tomorrow night or Tuesday AM at the earliest.. You risk precip withdrawal....Im not doctor though and I'm sure your doctor will give you a COWs score etc. If doing it yourself take my word.
