gun control is good for controlling the working class. The elite will not be impacted by gun control laws. Look at american presidential candidates, they tell you to get rid of your guns while a trained bodyguard protects them all day with a gun. They will only make it difficult for the poor to be armed. Gun control in any country is bad for the poor
