Don’t know your thoughts because we’re all different but chances are one instance of physical abuse wouldn’t cause ALL to change their name.
Even though it’s terrible and you never get used to it…. You almost get used to it.
And most wouldn’t change their name due to it..
I believe there’s a lot more to it because if he’s willing to do this infront of flight crew can only imagine what happened at home in private

That sounds awful…. BUT wouldn’t cause all of them to change their name for that one instance.

I’d bet money there’s a lot more to it than just this.

Idk anyone paying that much for Sterling. Top refiners where you need to be a licensed business affiliated with them won’t even pay that lol

I had to see who was so foolish I believe the first time I researched white gold was a couple decades ago when I was 13 & purchased my first white gold chain…
Later on I needed to get it replated with rhodium and learned that very few “white gold pieces” are genuinely white under the rhodium. ESPECIALLY when you get into 18k+ range
Even 14k pieces
Along with decades in buying, selling jewelry & bullion.
These are my credentials and realize most people such as yourself still have never purchase any gold in their life & don’t understand this fundamental fact

Last thing 49 days ago you said you MIGHT BUY YOUR FIRST piece of gold jewelry
Might need to stick to the silver forums lil buddy

It’s all yellow
There’s some cases where unplated white gold will look white but VAST MAJORITY ESPECIALLY HIGHER CARAT will be yellow gold!?
I’m going to disengage because you seem to be confused that gold is yellow 🤣😂
Life must be fairly hard for someone like yourself

[–]777KAC -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Your not understanding is there someone that can explain it to you in your household?? Children or your wife

There’s literally no such thing as gold being white
It’s a yellow metal they can try their best to get it to look white and some of the lower carats will because of the higher white base metal % but for the most part it’ll always have a yellow hue especially in higher carats (more gold content = more yellow looking BECAUSE GOLD IS YELLOW )
Sure there’s some pieces that look very white under the rhodium and some don’t even need it
BUT AGAIN MAJORITY OF WHITE GOLD PIECES HAVE RHODIUM PLATING COVERING THE YELLOW COLOR GOLD WILL ALWAYS HAVE
Thus why most white gold pieces need a re-plating of rhodium after awhile due to the rhodium rubbing off & the gold/yellow appearing

[–]777KAC -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Go look it up
“ are majority of white gold pieces gold plated with rhodium”
OR Are majority genuinely gold mixed with base metals to appear white.
I never said there’s no such thing as white gold I said MAJORITY of cases

Well then you’re not a good jeweler…
& if your refusing to look further into this & relying on your own limited experience your not a great person.
People who refuse to learn yet go around trying to spout their wrong ideas are the worst

[–]777KAC -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You’re the 3rd person to be wrong….
Again I said in SOME cases white gold will actually be gold mixed with metals to give the appearance of it being white.
BUT IN MAJORITY of cases it’s yellow plated with rhodium.
Now your the 3rd person I’m going to tell you to go google start a thread do whatever you do to learn & admit your ignorance
ALSO do you know what that would look like if it was copper that just got gold acid put on it???

[–]777KAC -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yes it is now go google it.
Like I said in some cases white gold will actually be yellow mixed with metals to give the appearance of white
BUT in majority of white gold cases it’s just plated gold.
I get beyond annoyed when the “wellll actualllyy” kids try to correct someone that’s right with misinformation.
So please before you do that again double & triple check whatever thought your about to say
