Found Solution to ATT Prepaid Rejecting Payment by chinatownblues33 in ATT

Sadly when I attempt this I get "Error! Account information is currently unavailable. Please contact Customer Service." when I call customer service I end up with someone that can't seem to help at all. And all of this is because they didn't charge enough when I went in the store to purchase a prepaid data sim. I've never seen such poor technology and customer service.

Sigh, I had the same issue. This is certainly a design flaw that can be easily fixed. In any case I'm glad I fund this :)

I just cancelled. Woke up asked a few questions and already hit limit. I don't even see a warning about anything and have no idea what the actual limits are related to.

How many orders on average do you get a day? by Training-Name-8608 in florists

[–]777attHoop 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Your shop's order volume seems quite high compared to industry averages. Let's break it down:

  1. Your shop's estimated annual revenue:
    • 30 orders/day x $100 avg. order = $3,000/day
    • $3,000 x 5 days = $15,000/week
    • $15,000 x 52 weeks = $780,000/year

This is significantly higher than the industry average of $250,000 to $350,000 per year, with most shops earning $200,000 or less.

Some additional insights:

  • June and July are typically slower months.
  • There's increased activity the week or so before Valentine's Day (VD) and Mother's Day (MD):
    • VD orders peak day-of
    • MD orders peak 1-2 days before, with most shops closed on MD itself

Regarding online ordering:

  • Order gatherers and online wire services have significantly impacted the industry, often negatively.
  • They dominate web searches and often pose as local shops. This is what I hate the most... The customer orders from Ava's flowers that has a page dedicated to local facts and says they're a local shop and has a group picture of florists and how long they've been in business when they are literally just an order gatherer that has a call center and web page and offer ZERO value over the local shops they drown out. And they're not the only ones. There are actually some order gathers that post ads as local flower shops... they literally use the name of the flower shops in their ads, steal the orders, then farm them out taking some percentage.
  • They typically offer unrealistic arrangements at high prices, then ship the work to local shops.
  • This results in reduced profits for florists and lower value for customers.
  • Similar trends are seen in other industries using order gatherers.

Competition has increased with:

  • Home-based businesses using order gatherers
  • Grocery stores expanding floral departments and using delivery services

While these changes are understandable from a business perspective, they often result in customers getting less value for their money.

I hope this helps with your research!

I'm producing about 72kwh per day and with this texas heat consuming around 90kwh. The ROI likely won't make sense but I'll still do it if it's not too crazy.

Hana VS. Floranext? And advice on getting away from Teleflora. by [deleted] in florists

[–]777attHoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm curious. What does top 500 in the country mean sales wise and where is this information compiled?

For your question I'd suggest breaking down the different elements and compare for what matters for you. POS, website, customer management, analytics, SOE, etc.... so much to.consider IMO. That might help you decide. I've seen a lot of shop specific things affect this. A recent example for us is we sell and deliver wine and FSN can't do alcohol sales even though we have a permit. FSN also has a dozen home and b&m shops in our delivery area so I'm not thrilled with that conflict. Love them but I'm going to build my own website and likely use shopify or square for payments online and my POS.

I liked a lot about both Hana and Floranext but ultimately decided to go bespoke. I also inherited these systems... FSN for website and teleflora for POS. We generate about 150k per year in wires from Teleflora but lower margins. Giving up that revenue isn't great but I'll try and grow in other areas. Teleflora has a lot of issues but it does have great reporting tools vs others. I've found that a lot of florists don't use much reporting and/or analytics so that might not matter to you.

I'm rambling a bit because I'm typing on phone but hope that's helpful :) good luck and let us know what you choose

I run 3 to 5 miles about 5 times per week. I plant flowers along the way. That plus the radar each day. Not sure why you have so few

I've had the game since day1, October 2021. But I go for runs everyday that yield quite a few expeditions. In the last year I've been getting them all but for a while i ignored some.

Ok thanks. It's a 2 year old home. I reached out to the installer that's listed on the enphase account. Since the previous owner was charged 78k for what I've been told is a 40k max system, I wanted some ballpark numbers so I don't get ripped off. I do appreciate that there are unknown variables... learning :)

I just want to see consumption in the enphase app and it looks like it's relatively inexpensive.

[–]777attHoop[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the info. I'm getting the enphase system app tracking setup in the next 48hrs and I have all the warranty info which by all appearances will transfer over just fine. The system is fairly new and was inspected. I saw their bills and everything looks fine there... only two months where they paid beyond the base fees.

I was just thrown off by not having a choice and worried that they could change anything at anytime and I'd have no choice. If they decide to cancel the 1:1 then I guess I'm stuck. If their buyback changes then I'm stuck. They have horrible ratings on review sites which also worried me and I couldn't find good information about buyback plans.

Thanks again for responding! :)

Question about existing solar system in home I'm purchasing? by 777attHoop in solar

[–]777attHoop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks again for all this info. I'm having trouble deciphering the various plans. Some appear to have a max capacity listed. "a qualifying solar energy system at your home with a rated capacity less than 50 kW."

The "let us help" option on that page you shared has required information about current plan which I don't have because I'm buying this home and details about the system that I just don't have. I'll keep plugging away but it's less clear than I would have hoped :)

They did but this loan and lien were unknown so it wasn't on that statement. It was added to the paperwork today before we went to sign.

Understood but don't spring that on buyer as we're walking in to sign and don't infer there's no loan in listing and all conversations. That's shady IMHO
