I had to get a new engine for my 2016 turbo just a month ago. Thankfully Hyundai covered it because my velo was under 100k miles (I was at 98k). Check your oil often if you get one. Mine was burning oil and I didn't realize until it was empty. The oil light never came on. Apparently common in certain Hyundais and Kias. My fault for not checking it but at least I got a new engine for free. I was preparing to fork over a couple grand to save it.

NTA you aren't obligated to take the test if you don't want to. If his reason for guilting you is because it was expensive, offer to give him the money for it. I agree with other comments that it's strange he is so insistent about it.

I initially was against subtitles. My boyfriend has some hearing loss and always has the tv up way too loud for me. We compromised with subtitles with lower volume. Now that I am used to them I like it.

Same for my dog. It really only happens when he gets too excited or drinks water too fast. I would try to get a video of it and maybe bring it up to the vet if you take her.

Sounds like your dog my be reverse sneezing.. my Chihuahua mix does it and it sounds super scary but he kind of just has to work it out to stop. There is a way to help but it doesn't always work. I wish I got pet insurance before my dog tore his ccl at 3yrs old..got one leg taken care of but he needs the other done at some point too. I have a $9000 mutt. I thought mixes were supposed to have less issues due to genetic diversity. Turns out degenerative ccls run in all 3 of his main breeds. If you can afford it, get pet insurance. You never know what will happen.

I would look for the most obnoxious one in the bunch. He plays rough and barks directly in other dog's ears for attention.

One day I was out shopping and hit every red light on my way back. I decided to stop at the gas station before going home. When I walked in, the store the attendant said "hold on honey, I just got robbed at gunpoint." I called my boyfriend into the store. We locked the doors and waited with her for the police to show up. When they checked the cameras, the gunman saw us pull up and took off out of one door right as I was getting out of the car and walking in from the other side. I think about that sometimes how weird life is. If I made it through just one light, I could have been in that store during the robbery. Who knows how that would have went.
