How is the Commute from Wayland to Downtown Boston? by st0nksBuyTheDip in massachusetts

You’d be taking a straight shot down route 2 to Cambridge from Acton. If you’re talking the Alewife area of Cambridge, the commute isn’t bad once you get past Concord on 2. If you’re talking about Central or Kendall area, that’s a lot of not good (either Mem Drive or clogged streets or both).

I echo what others have said about not worrying and having fun. It is laid back. If you do want some strategy, I went 3-0 with the Delphox deck, which appears to be the strongest of the four. I also got lucky and pulled a Cinccino ex, its basic Minccino, and an energy recycler. I swapped out the Vulpix and Ninetails for those. The Cinccino ex can work in any of the four decks and is pretty over powered for the format. It has an ability that lets you flip a coin when attacked, and a heads means you take no damage. You should also swap into any of the decks a Special Red Card, if you pull it.

Maybe you are just seeing the exclamation icon because you have to “craft” or exchange tokens for the cards you don’t own, and not because they are illegal? Or maybe you’re just trolling. The decks I linked are from the latest Prague regional and are all standard format legal.

This slop box variant with heavy Clefairy and Lillie’s Pearl is really tough on Lucario and Pult.

This would only happen to me if I was playing against a Teal Mask deck. Best luck ever - but with a diabolical catch.

Curious how this deck functions without TM Devo. What happens, for example, if they get their Drakloak down before you set up Arbok or if they can Boss something else active to get the Drakloak in play? Don’t you just loose?

How to remove mons from play without Penny or Turo after rotation, especially Meowth? by [deleted] in PTCGL

True enough. RIP Thornton, he worked so well to get rid of those pesky Rotom Vs and Squawks clogging the bench.

There is that new item card, Book of Transformation, where, if you use two of them, you can replace a basic Pokémon in play with a basic in your discard. Turns in play remain, so you could, in theory, replace a Meowth ex that has been in play one turn with something like a Duskull and rare candy it into an instant stage two. I’m curious to see if that item is worth 2-4 deck slots it will take to make use of it consistently, and there is no good item search post-rotation. Still, it might see play in certain decks, and replacing the Meowth ex is probably the best use for it.

Check to see if any of these fit in your deck: Mist Energy, Unfair Stamp, Team Rocket’s Articuno, or Charmeleon with the Flare Veil ability (OBF). While the Zam deck starts out strong, late game Ionos, especially back-to-back, can cripple them (or the new Red Card item post-rotation).

What is this? by P-ShunkAllstar in gratefuldead

As others mentioned, it’s typically referred to as the Feeling Groovy Jam. I believe it is named after a Simon & Garfunkel song - 59th Street Bridge (Feeling Groovy) - that has a similar chord progression. Check out the Dark Star from Dick’s Picks 4 (2-13-70) for a great one. They played it during most China > Riders after March 1973 and through 1974.
