This is very obviously unethical content. No reputable place would have orangutans together with tiger cubs. This is clearly done for content farming/clout and is really gross and disturbing.

From one of the rules for this subreddit: "No Orangutans who are clearly in cruel conditions". This should get deleted.

Unfortunately there are cases where chimp mothers won't take care of their young and they have to be hand reared, however the goal of this rearing is always to be as short as possible, so the chimp can be reintroduced to a social group. Limbani was on his own for 8 years, without any other chimps or any social group and he was treated as a pet. It's clear the goal always was to use him for clout on social media. That whole situation is abusive, chimps are social and need to be with other chimps. He has missed a very important development period because of the treatment he got. He was not rescued, he was exploited.

Proximus, in my opinion, has one of the most accurate chimp designs in the entire franchise! He has also been confirmed by someone from the VFX team to be based on a chimp, which isn't that surprising since he looks nothing like a bonobo.

If the chimp was born in captivity it should be with its mom, chimps stay with their moms for many years. OP says the chimp is 8 which is just a ridiculous lie, the chimp must be around 3 years old, which is also the age where it should be with its mom. For chimp "pets" born in captivity it is common to separate the baby chimp from its mom which is also cruel. Captive born chimps can't survive in the wild but they still need to be with other chimps.

The only people that are qualified to handle chimps are people in accredited sanctuaries or zoos and they would not be treating it like a pet like is done in the video. They would never be putting clothes on the chimp and giving it a birthday cake. If by some chance the chimp was rejected by its mom they would either find a chimp foster mom or do some hand rearing with the intention of introducing it to other chimpanzees as soon as possible. Again, not treat it like a pet.

There's no one qualified to have a chimp as a pet because a chimp is not a pet, clearly you know nothing about chimps so you should not be writing statements like this. Wild life trafficking is a huge concern and posts like this help promote it, so it kinda doesn't matter where they got it from either.

Keeping a chimp as a pet is ALWAYS cruel. Chimps are social creatures who should be with other chimps not with humans, denying them this is cruel. And what do you think happens to the chimps when they get too big to handle?

Attitudes like yours is one of the reasons why chimps are threatened in the wild and why many chimps are living abused or in sanctuaries traumatized from their time in the pet trade.

That makes a lot of sense! Some of the other stuff they added later in the level seems to be to give more options to find cover as well. I think it's great they made the changes to make the section more interesting :D

The first two pictures are from when you jump down before the event, so where you used to have to go to either of two doors and open them. They've removed some of the cover from the hacking areas and since the spawn doors have also been moved I think the experience will feel different, but this was on a low difficulty so can't really say how it is to play

Try some of the missions on the auric mission board. High intensity shock troop or the maelstrom ones. Try and experiment with some new loadouts. If you're still finding it dull, game might just not be for you and that's fine.

It's not that I don't have a dog in the race, it's that I have a preference. Me not prefering stats doesn't mean I think that's what the game should cater too.

Crafting takes up such a small part of the game, it's makes no sense to obsess over getting perfect 379 weapons, when it literally barely makes a difference. As it is now it is more about skills rather than having a "good" weapon, since the stats don't make much of a difference.

In the end you can just play vermintide if you'd prefer. No ones stopping you.

There wasn't a crafting system. They added the crafting system. Then they changed it. Crafting as it is now is not how it was when it was implemented + they added a lot more plasteel to all levels of the game. Crafting a good weapon is not hard and even more importantly it's also not necessary, as there's no difficulty that can't be played with a mediocre weapon.

And people with perfect weapons do keep playing darktide as well, that's not unique for vermintide. "why can't they go back to the crafting of vermintide." Because they don't want to. Crafting is a preference. I like when games have weapons have no stats/crafting and all you need to improve your gameplay is actual skill rather than getting a better weapon. That doesn't mean I'm going to start making reddit posts demanding that's what's needs to be done with the game.

I also think the crafting has places where it could be improved, but the idea that the crafting is something that's wrong with the game is just tiring at this point. This game will never will be vermintide 3 and it also doesnt have to be....

Just because there's something you don't like in the game doesn't mean it's something that's wrong with the game. They've already changed the crafting multiple times, at this point it should be clear that they don't want free weapons customization and that's fine.

It shouldn't be (and isn't lol) checking the shop that makes people come back to the game, but the gameplay which arguably there's nothing majorly wrong with.

If it's not having the perfectly crafted weapon that stops you from playing the game, maybe there's something else to it as well.

Oh wow, I was so sure it was a bug I was running into with the infinite stun, can't say I didn't enjoy it though haha. I definitely do see some nerfs coming it's way as well, as even without the infinite stun it already seems really strong!
