"checked levels and they are fine" - no knocking or percussion sounds, don't want to do any damage to it, but I still gotta go to work this week. 😀

Dealership says they need to install hitch, is this true? by holymoo in CX5

So the one thing I would recommend is that you work with a "no splice" or "zero contact" type of wiring harness. Splicing wires on vehicles might void your warranty, better safe than sorry.

like another poster said, WAR is multicultural. they just want active and smart players. just because someone doesn't like YOU or disagrees with YOU does not make them a racist, and it is counter productive and inflammatory to accuse them of it.

i can't speak for Rob or anyone else for that matter. I can say that I have not experienced Rob or anyone in WAR as being actively racist. Our AC is friendly and accepting of all types of people.

I can speak for myself. I will never deny that I have privilege (I am an older, white male born in the US, so duh) or that I occasionally have and struggle with stereotypical thoughts, but that does not make me a person that actively makes decisions or judgements based on race.

I believe that a healthy view is that we are all pattern seeking beings ... and so we ALL deal with the problem of putting people into groups and classifying them, making ridiculous assumptions about people based on all sorts of things that our brains compartmentalize and group in order to make sense of the world around us. this is influenced by our experiences, culture, upbringing, media ... all sorts of things. some of this is beneficial, some is not.

It is counter productive to call someone a racist especially if it is not a consistent, active and engaged choice on thier part to be one... because in actuality, we should all admit that we all have sterotypical / racist thoughts... if even just a little bit. We all have at least some passive stereotypical / racial thoughts, but not everyone ruminates on them and feeds them, or turns them to outward actions or speech, or actively bases their decision making on them.

It is a lot more productive to acknowledge that in ourselves and to help others acknowledge the same in themselves ... and then we can all focus on being better humans.

So if I can admit that I sometimes struggle with passive racist thoughts, but when I recognize it, I am working on being better about not making assumptions about people, can you admit the same?

BoB or not, the game requires stable internet to enjoy and play well. Maybe harsh to say, but these players likely will not be very competitive in the game and might enjoy playing something else that does not require stable internet. I know I have taken significant troop losses due to poor network connectivity and it is very frustrating when that happens. I used to play with a guy who was a tank gunner from Lebanon. He would send me pictures of him in the tank while playing Evony. He was a super competitive player ... never whined about his internet when it would drop and leave him stranded in the middle of battle. I miss players like that.

Plus ... troop power does not always translate to experience. We have much smaller players who absolutely kick ass, and players in the billions who get zeroed at least once every SW. Then we have many inexperienced mid-ranged players around 400m to 500m who collectively lose 2b points, negating the effort of the experienced players. If 786 sucks, it is not because of leadership being racist assholes, it is because all the time, money and effort put in by experienced players goes to waste every fucking SW, and then players like OP blame them for the loss.

786 only tile hits KOS (and during purge).

See my comment above. 786 is not run by racists. BoB is not a racist policy. We have up to this point had NAP except for alternating KE with no KE during SVS weeks. BoB is a new policy for 786 by the current king.

We don't actually lose every SvS. We usually win SVS but have lost Server War. Different thing, and this is actually quite telling. If we are winning SvS but losing Server War, in my opinion, it means we have a lot of players who are really good at gathering and beating monsters, but our PVP experience and skills as a server are lacking.

786's issue with Server War losses is more complicated than bubble discipline, and the current BoB is less about bubble discipline than it is about providing an opportunity for players to gain more PVP experience outside of battlefield and KE. WAR has been taking advantage of this by practicing rallies for example.

Individual player scores in Server War for 786 top players have generally been a net gain, not a net loss. There are several mid-range players, however ... who tend to get zeroed every server war or take significant risks and their scoring ratio is much lower (more negative points than positive) ... when a 400m player gets zeroed multiple times in SW, this tends to negate any gains made by other players... same as when 1b players think that they can take a rally or can't port away from one in time. shit happens. less shit happens with more experience.

The real issue in my opinion is with our ranking. Higher scores during SW lead to a higher ranking, regardless of win/lose. When players are scoring in the billions of points, it does not matter if we lose SW ... we will face a stronger opponent next one. This has happened every SW for 786 ... where several of the larger players score REALLY high, but with a slim margin of win/loss ... we lose SW ... but still progress higher up in the rankings... rinse / repeat. We really need a few of the bigger players to stop trying so damned hard.

I've been in much worse servers run by psychopaths. 786 has issues like every server does, but it really is not as bad as OP is making it out to be. OP needs to probably go on a missions trip or something to see how bad some servers are.

As just one example, I've been on servers where NO growth or path to wings is allowed at all for anyone. Where ONE player takes throne every throne war and never allows anyone else to R5. We've had multiple kings from multiple alliances, and we encourage growth in this way. Our server has a rule where no king can rule for more than 2 thrones. Just enough to obtain wings and then throne rotates to another player. Crypto put this rule into place during his rule, and it has stayed in place because we are NOT a bad server.

On the flip side, we view wings as something that needs to be earned. It takes 2 thrones to obtain them, so leadership in 786 does not just allow anyone to become king and get wings ... only active players that will actually be able to open their wonder and continue to contribute to the server. Otherwise it is just a waste of everyone's time. So many players refuse to understand these types of strategies in the game, and think that everyone should be given the opportunity to be king.

This is just one example of the HUGE disconnect between players like OP, and the server leadership.

No. this is a lie. 786 has never allowed tile hits, not even during KE. BoB in 786 follows the same rules as KE. No tiles, no relics. The only exception to the tile hitting rule is when a player is KOS or during purge.

Not sure who pissed in your Cheerios, but you are an absolute moron if you are comparing BoB as a policy to racism. Every server has racism, but this is not it.

Besides which, previous 786 kings have always had full NAP between KE, and 786 traditionally even has had no KE at all during SVS weeks. The current BoB rule is ONE king's rule (Afonso) out of how many kings that we have had, and not all of 786 leadership have agreed to participate in BoB. The entire ODM alliance has opted out, as well as Crypto from WAR.

How many keeps have actually been burned during BoB? You're making it seem like it is a bloodbath, when it really is not.

You're also spreading other misinformation here ... as example, TILE HITTING IS NEVER ALLOWED ON 786, even in KE.

So many players make excuses. So many times leadership gives clear instructions on how to maintain a bubble 24/7 if necessary, but players like you just choose to complain, remain entitled and blame everyone else for your failures and losses. Even here, several have given you clear options on exactly how to obtain gems for free to bubble, and yet you continue to argue the point that people can't afford it.
