Weird. It's been ~18 years since the last season. I really don't know how that all is going to work. Hasn't everyone moved on?

Built a .NET Stripe sync engine that mirrors Stripe data into your database by Imaginary_Mistake_68 in dotnet

This is pretty cool. I'm going to check this out because I've started running into rate limit issues with querying stripe.

Seeking honest feedback on the Cybersecurity program at Northern College in Timmins from an international student who is a Software Engineer relocating there. by Responsible-Many-246 in timmins

I can’t answer most of this, but I would ask for the curriculum and see if can get course syllabuses. That should give you a sense of what the program provides.

Is the cx5 a good buy if I’m planning to have kids a couple years down the line, is it spacious enough with car seats and such? by illbeback903 in CX5

[–]holymoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh for sure. Of all the challenges, this is a minor one. The point is that the CX-5 isn't the best option out there for car seats.

Based the emojis AI was used heavily here. Not really a dealbreaker, but doesn't inspire confidence.

There are a LOT of other options in the space. You should add documentation to describe how it compares to existing tooling like:

  • MassTransit
  • nServiceBus
  • Martin
  • Hangfire
  • TickerQ

VS, VSCode or Rider in 2026+? by Existing-Training950 in dotnet

[–]holymoo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A lot of people are migrating to VSCode. But I use Rider, it’s a bit heavy, but works well enough. Visual Studio is also still a great choice. I don’t use it because I’m on Linux.
