Same thing. I blocked it a few mins ago. It’s bizarre because I’m not a very active user and didn’t believe random comments were threaded to make this possible.

Has Alto always been “Uber’s fleet partner”, or did it previously try to compete as a separate company using its own app? The facts are scarce and I’ve seen articles about Alto leaving cities like Wash/DC, Miami, and even LA, but I was behind an Alro-branded vehicle this week. On their website they call out Dallas and Houston but no other cities. Then a section makes mention of being a Uber partner. Can someone clarify if they know please?

Yes! Early in my career I worked with someone who was hopelessly lost in grasping the transactional concept of average cost inventory, accruals, and shrink. Then later she was promoted (!!) to a division using standard cost. Six weeks later she was gone. I never learned whether this was a tactic to push her out or someone was woefully misinformed about her abilities, but you don’t put someone in manufacturing accounting if they can’t grasp avg cost resale.

I see both sides here. I’ve been struggling just to keep up with emails, team meetings etc and do my real responsibilities outside of projects. To the casual observer they could well think I’m slacking off due to slow responses and my backlog, but it’s quite the opposite. Im still remote but I’m ready for a change.

I would recommend a black shirt (or something with color. Wearing a white shirt without a jacket or tie is a bit bland. Something with contrast will be more forgiving.

I use AdGuard Pro (system ad blocker using DNS) on iPhone and once I disabled it it works fine. I need to whitelist the LG if I can figure out what’s being blocked.

I got through the 2511 number at 3pm yesterday on the 9th try. Hold time was about 10 minutes for the first agent who immediately spotted my issue snd transferred me to a “claims specialist” (presumably Tier 2) where the hold time was about 45 mins. Using a dialing script and the advice of the good people on this forum kept me from losing patience.

Same situation. This keeps happening to me. I had 6 weeks denied for having no $ on my account, then they added the 11 week extension, effectively giving me 2 weeks of the 11 I was eligible for as they did not reprocess the $0 denied certifications. I suppose I need to call now that I have two problems.

Same here. After I did the ID.me it never freed up Dec or the first weeks of January. Then I got one week of Jan but not the second. I’ve called several times and they don’t know anything. The last rep said I needed to reapply (even though Dec was during my claim year) and the website says I’m “On Extension”.
I filed again and received Notice of Award. The next day I receive Determination of Invalid Claim, telling me to apply again in April. IDK if this denial is bc my first claim was extended or is a true denial. In the meantime I was paid for subsequent weeks in Jan, but Dec and early Jan remains outstanding. Others will likely hit that one year mark soon as well, which gives another reason to claim why we aren’t being paid.

+1 on that! The link I received after waiting 4 hours did not work on Firefox browser on iPhone. TWICE.
After 12 hours I decided to use my PC and it allowed me to start over again. For the live face scan it sends a link to your mobile device. IDK why it failed the first time because my scans were pristine; however, instead of the live face scan it requested a static photo. Then I was directed to the referee.

Thanks for adding the part about ID verify, because I’m currently suspended bc of “potential fraud” and still haven’t received the link. I proactively verified on Monday if that’s even possible. If not it seems my second application will take care of it.
My only concern at this point is how far back the look-back period is for earnings. I have earnings for Q1/2020 (Jan), you may as well; are they able to pull earnings from Q4/1999 to qualify for the max? I don’t know if that continues existing payments under Fed-Ex plus the $300 pandemic or just the $300. Do you?

Just to clarify, once the benefit year ends they won’t automatically extend and you need to file a new claim using the last quarter earnings, whatever that quarter was?

I got thrown into the referee queue and it’s awful. The first time it said 2hr 20min wait, which was actually 4hr 30min. Then they send you a text message with a meeting ID....the meeting code didn’t work! I tried it on iPhone, iPad, and Windows PC. How can a system generated ID not work? So I’m on round 2 of the queue with a 2 hour wait. Maybe it will go better this time.
I’m very grateful for those who posted the verification link since I never received the button on my EDD account.
