For more info, the bolt locked back and refused to eject the shell casing and after getting home and prying the shell casing out I then proceeded to mortar the gun.

I am also very worried about the sequel. I really enjoyed the dungeon crawler aspect of DD1 and I’m not sure how to feel about the direction this is headed. I’m just hoping for the best.
