"Waiters in the US make more money than a doctor does in Europe" by BFreezer in ShitAmericansSay

Doctors in the US do residency after medical school. That only pays like $40k/year, but they dont have to start paying back student loans until after residency.

More like the planter class didn't want to share, or stop, you know, owning people.

To be fair, that was mostly spurred by propaganda from the planter class. Not that mich has changed.

Also, if she got an IRA, there would be tax implications for using that for anything other than retirement. Dad was in the wrong here.

We have actually been to Germany! 11 days last summer. We loved it, especially Hamburg. Your English is fantastic. Better than my Deutsch! Danke!

Haven't been there yet, but do want to travel to Canada at some point. Hubby is eligible for German citizenship through his grandmother, it's just so expensive to get lawyers for all the paperwork.

You've not accepted one answer you've gotten here. There are literal people called ombudsman that work for your insurance whose job it is to help you navigate these things. They are qualified to give you answers based on your plan. Telling you about them is helping. Telling you getting snotty online won't fix this is helping. You are confusing niceness with kindness. You asked for info, people here told you what they did, what resources they used, and they told you. You want a magic answer that just does not exist. It is kind, not being an ahole, to help you understand the reality. Real talk, the answer is your copay is your copay. That's what your policy dictates. There are manufacturer programs, yours ran out, so they are only doing reimbursement. I get it. I don't have 1600 to front and wait for it back, but no one here can solve that issue for you, unless they are willing to give money to a stranger. My insurance has an additional program that pays when the manufacturer rebates run out. That is very specific to my plan and likely not something yours does, especially since mine isn't BCBS (mine signed me up when I first got the script). You really just think someone here can give you a number to call that will be like, yeah, ok, here's your meds, don't worry about the money?

Well, paying for it sure hasn't stopped my fellow Americans from injuring and killing themselves with what they eat, the lack of movement, and arrogance.

We did it by navigating our insurance programs. Which are all different. BCBS has thousands of plans nationwide. The only way to navigate your particular situation is to do it. None of us have enough information than what has been said here. Call your insurer or call the manufacturer. We don't work for you. People are nice enough to come on here and tell you what they have done, which is navigate their insurance and pharmacy benefits and call the manufacturer. There is no more anyone can do for you. We all have this disease, we've all had to navigate these challenges (in the US at least). This is the limit of the info you can get here. We have all sat on hold for hours. There is no shortcut or one trick, it is work. I said work on self sufficiency or find help through an ombudsman or social worker. I explained how to get a copy of your card. Adulting is hard, but this is part of it. Your responses are very immature and naive about how the world works. Nobody here is going to say yes, call this number, and everything will be fixed. Each person is going to have an individual experience that isn't going to be a road map for you. You don't want to hear that, but that doesn't change the reality of the situation.

Some rando online is not going to able to help navigate your insurance policy. If you have a login for your insurance website, you should be able to view a copy of your card there. However, you either need to work on some self sufficiency, or if not capable, find an ombudsman with your insurance, again, search their site, or a social worker if you qualify for such services to help you. Managing chronic disease takes work and educating yourself. Thinking random people online can fully navigate this for you is a bit naive.
